You have to go into the cave itself and use the Flashgrowth Mote right on top of the portal.

If you are a cloth wearer, either get a group or prepare for a suicide mission. Even at L85 in Heroic blues, you don't have a lot of options as the little egg-stealing creeps come in 2 to 4 at a time. Close up their portal and they tend to get a bit nasty at the person who did it. Just a forewarning. I'm not saying it's impossible to do without dying, but don't expect to fly in, drop the mote and get out without a scratch. I doubt plate wearers will have many issues.

I didn't find this a challenge at all, even in cloth. Kill the mobs outside the cave, run in, set off the mote, and run out. Mount up and fly away.

Nothing to it.

Its even easier than the above. As a Mage I just flew into the entrance, dropped the Mote and blinked my way out. Voila done....

Lot easier then I first thought. Mount up and hover over the entrance and wait for one of the Vermilion Sentinel to clear a path to the entrance. Dismount into the cave and kill the last two Twilight Cultist's. Piece of cake.

The coords for the cave are 18.82-16.64. I spent a long time trying to find the cave. Then, I got ambushed once I found it. Level 85 hunter. Feign death worked, but I did it too late

As a mage, I "Blink"ed my way into the cave, in the center of the portal, then used the item to destroy the portal and "Invisibility" to run out without getting into combat.Pretty much easy.

Confirming that you go up to the cave (if you do not have the coords mod like i don't) just follow the mobs that carry the eggs. It will lead to the cave, wait until one of the drakes comes and burn a few down. If that is done, kill the the pair remaining mobs, go in to the cave (there will also be 1 or 2) and distroy the portal. When the drakes kill the mobs, the will let the eggs go, so youm just have to pick them up, you can stay on your flying mount (as i hunter i could).

I was concerned doing this as a priest due to the amount of mobs over there. With my hunter I used camo, snuck in and did what I needed to do. Honestly though, it was super easy as a priest. Follow the dead mobs/mobs caring eggs back to the cave on your flying mount. Wait for all of the mobs to leave or be killed (there was 2 left). I killed the mob standing outside the cave first, than ran inside, used the flashgrowth mote, then ran back out with one mob following me. I went off to the side to kill him, just in case another set of mobs started to come. Super easy!

Find the source of the Twilight's Hammer in the Vermillion Redoubt and destroy it.

Description

Every inch of air and every hill surrounding the redoubt is constantly under the watchful eye of Lira's drakes. They must have found a way into the shrine from beneath.

Take this Flashgrowth mote. It should prove more than sufficient to close any hole, tunnel, or portal they might have used to get inside our defenses.

Find the breach in our defenses. Close it.
