I wonder if this title will still be obtainable once Cataclysm comes out? Because frankly, it's awesome, but I know I won't be able to get it during Wrath.

Imagine in Cata, everyone has definetly over 50k hp, and thus - over 65 with ICC buff

emmmm right now,actually,every single plate wearer dps has more than 50k and tanks are close to 80k =)

since almost all rating have gone rly low at 85 this one can cause a lot of tankin-healing troubles. defile and trap can be a huge prob tho hp pools r pretty much more then enough. 160k tanks with no icc buff is perfect to at least try to get the LoD.

PS: nah, no more Invincible 100% drop, now its the same drop% as Ashes of Altar.

This is one hard achievement to earn, despite people having incredible amounts of DPS, Insane Health-pools, and healers being able to heal this very easily.
Shadow Traps & Defile screws people over - So badly.
We attempted this a few weeks ago, and ended up having to call it, as people were simply failing on the Shadow Traps, dropping it on the tanks/Melee's.
People might have the gear to survive the damage from the Adds/The Lich King.
But they can't out-gear Defile & Shadow Trap.

Kataly is right, defile will make this unattainable by "the stupid" for a long time to come.

HEROIC Defile - Inflicts 10,000 Shadow damage every second to all players in the targeted area. Every time a player takes damage from this, Defile's damage and area increase.

I.E. a raid with a few simpletons (I'm looking at you, people who kept dying at Mimiron -HARD MODE, no offense, you know who you are.) this spell WILL cover the entire platform everytime it is cast, 10.000 damage to every raidmember, 150.000 hp or not, that's not gonna end well.

Just got this title tonight. To be honest, I haven't seen that many Light of Dawn's running around, just us. I did it with my guild, but I have heard that pugging this achievment isn't faceroll.

It is easy to get with a pug. I just got this tonight in a pug. The group had a very good tank/leader and everyone knew what to do. If someone in your pug is holding the group back, kick them and replace. Simple as that

This is extremely easy to get using the burn strat.

For starters, fill the entire group with 85's that know what they are doing.

Use vent and be vocal!

Make sure 1 melee and 1 range have DBM so their say announce informs the groups of Shadowtrap... Just in case.

During the transitions assign all ranged DPS to attack LK. If your raid is ranged heavy then assign a certain group to kill ragings.

When you enter the fresh phase stack up dead centre on the platform, pop EVERYTHING. All personal CD's, Lust/Heroism/Time Warp and burn as fast as possible.

When the valks come, let them take the players, losing a couple of people doesn't matter with this strat.

When the transition hits do exactly what you did on the first transition

Stack in centre once the transition is over and mark someone to lead the group in Frostmourne phase.

From there on out just dodge the defiles and win in frostmourne.

This strat is the most fail safe way to get the title at 85. Due to 99% of the population on wow not having any skill whatsoever besides tunnel vision this ensures they are not being overworked on their skill limit. It works out faster and smoother.

Only note is you just need to survive First Phase and not wipe on defiles and you will get the title :)

Nice title, Just got it on my paladin and I must say it goes really well with my class.
Just a shame really that some people patronize you for using titles like this, Just because It's not difficult to obtain any more doesn't mean a it's a stupid title...

This achievement is so easy to get i'll get it no problem. Ok good we have a healer a tank and 2 dps we are good to go lets do this, this is easy! False, this achievement is still quite hard to get. Not only does it take at least a hour to get to the Lich King, but you might wipe! How is that even possible, if you are asking that you clearly are a inexperienced player and haven't done any Wotlk raids since Cata. It is very much possible to still wipe on Wotlk raids. The Lich King well on heroic mode he has 100mil that's a ton for back then, its still an ok amount. If you wipe on the Lich King its not the end of the world it took me and my group about 3 tries to get it. Watch out for unintelligent players which may walk straight into defile as this is a group wiper.
