Oh I like this, I do like this. To be combined with Improved Charge.

I started playing an Arms Warrior in 3.0, and couldn't help feeling underpowered. The changes to the Arms tree (and to Battle Stance) in this patch are really exciting.

So now after the hunter avoids or escapes the intercept charge, the warrior has the right to say: "Silly !@#$%...don't you know who I am? I'm the Juggernaut ^&*!@!" and then use charge.

Warbringer looked powerful for pvp in the prot tree, putting it in the arms tree will bring some havoc.

Although it will not break movement impairing effects and cannot be used in any stance. Most respectable pvp oriented arms warriors have Tactical Mastery, so stance dancing will be no problem.

very good talent even for PvE warrior IMO.
there are lots of boss encounters where you need to move, this talent not only allows you get back to boss quicker so you can start to do damage quicker, but also boosting your dps with raised crit chance.

not worth to move away from boss to get MS crit everytime its off cooldown, but helpful in many situations.

It's so sad. As a mage, I feel we were hit the hardest. I simply cannot beat an arms warrior now who knows what Mortal Strike is. Blink is stretched, they have Heroic AND Shattering Throw, practically all my armor is automatically ignored, and they still get Bladestorm in the end. The pendulum has swung, Warrior > Mage as of now. Please stop this.

People are saying this is Warbringer it isnt..

Warbringer removes all movement impareing effects and can be usable in any stance

Juggernaught dosent remove movement imparing effects and you can only use it in battle stance

but yes it is very hard to stay out of a warriors range with this

To be honest, I see how this applies to arcane or fire mages (But who PVPs as fire these days?). I still have a ton of problems with Frost, though, between blink, 60% move speed reduction, Nova/Shattered Barrier/elemental... I am by no means an expert on PVP of any kind, much less arena, but I would be inclined to say that it's not your class, sir, it's your spec.

Notice, though, that jugg doesn't break movement impairing or root effects. Even as arcane, you can still nova and blink, assuming the war doesn't get a dispel. That's a good 8 seconds where the warrior can't do anything to you, assuming you're not attacking him (which you would have no reason to do in arenas unless he's either paired with a DK, in which case you probably have other things to worry about, or you two are the only two left), he's not a gnome (How many gnome warriors do you really see?) and he hasn't already trinketed your opening poly, in which case the match should be very close to over anyways. Be aware that charge has no more than a 30 yard range (assuming glyphed) so if you blink and walk a bit, he can't charge. By keeping an eye on your nova timer, you can be ready to move away when he breaks, and assuming you have slow on, which you definitely should, you can easily run away from him. At this point, it should be fairly easy to simply kite him around until slow wears off, by which point your blink and nova cooldowns should be up. If he uses bladestorm and you can't get away, you can always IB.

If you don't want to do all of that, you can also just sit in the dead zone (5-8 yards) and kite him around using slow, because there's not a damned thing he can do at that point besides stop and hope you keep moving into charge range, but doing so requires a good deal of concentration and a ton of practice. It is, however, much, much more effective, because you can DPS the warrior, and, more importantly, reapply slow, while kiting him in this matter, whereas if you were to outrange him, you wouldn't be able to hit him with arcane spells. Basically, it requires a lot more practice, but allows the mage superior control and survivability as compared to simply outranging the warrior.

Please note that this is assuming the warrior doesn't have a partner who can dispel. From my own personal experience, at least in twos, if the deps on the other team is doing their job right, my healer (disc priest) often won't have time to dispel me because he's too busy trying not to die. If you've got your own healer, then assuming you're equally geared, the warrior shouldn't be able to put out enough DPS that you die in less than about five seconds, even if he crits everything, and that's plenty of time to react and get out of the situation.

Again, I'm not any sort of expert on PVP, this is purely from my own limited observations and those of my friends, but based upon what little experiences I've had, I would say that, rather than being a kitefest where the mage wins every time, this has leveled the playing field somewhat, perhaps even tilted the matchup in the warrior's favor, in some cases. However, I would hesitate to say that warriors now own mages as thoroughly as mages owned warriors up until this point.

I'm sorry, I thought Blizzard stopped making talents have negative consequences pre-TBC. ( You know, after mages / warlocks whined about their talents having bad things in them. )

Did someone at Blizzard have an aneurysm after their mage got beat in Arena?
