Any word on how much the initial and then periodic heals get of your +heal amount?

This tallent-spell owns!
Now with my ~500 heal spd bonus it heals for ~1.4K + heal_dot (~170) + hasterate for next 2 healing waves(with 5 tal points in "Tidal waves" (65 lvl, 0/0/56). This means for me that my maintank is mainly in full hp (with the addition of Earth shield:).
In pvp my restoshamy specked for MT-heal beats DK (not the antimage one) and mages (use the purge!) mostly. Stuning classes (as rogues and pals) are the terrible problem, but they fall smtimes, too). Mb this is until i train my hands to better lvl ;) This spell does the great job for this.
As for me it's worth every talent and mana point spent for it. Remember this: it's the only restoshamy's INSTANT heal.

Haste breakpoints for increased ticks.

35% haste (whether with wrath of air or not) = 10 ticks of the Hot
40% haste is still 10 ticks.
55% haste grants 11 ticks
85% haste grants 14 ticks

Tested with 35% haste from gear, plus Ephemereal snowflake on use effect (for 55%) and Trinket + Heroism for 85%.

It's new breakpoints in Cataclysm are, assuming you are using the Glyph of Riptide:

+1 Tick at 915 / 261 hasterating
+2 Ticks at 2745 / 2005 hasterating
+3 Ticks at 4576 / 3748 hasterating

The first number is without, the second with the +5% spellhaste buff.

As of 4.3, the HoT-component has seen a 50% increase in scaling.
This is straight from the patchnotes, I have not yet been able to confirm it's actually 50% ingame, and whether it only affects the scaling or also the base value.
