Wow. I have a feeling this ability will get nerfed. Putting rend on the target and 30% chance to use overpower while it's ticking? I LOVE IT! Haha you don't even have to do anything, just use a DoT and wait. This will completely destroy rogues and hunters.

Note that purpose of this talent is to make Overpower usable in PvE, with enought expertise you will get no dodge, but with this, few new talents and spells, it can finally make Battle Stance viable for PvE, in PvP it is more often cheaper to check out them with hamstring and this one is not going to make huge difference.

Expertise reduces the chanse for your attacks to be parried and dodged. Hence, you can eliminate dodges/parries.

Let's say you're in battle stance and use rend, then switch to zerker.
Can this talent proc and let you use overpower while in zerker stance?

This is a great ability for us warriors which have provided a whole new concept in stance dancing.

A very powerful ability which you SHOULD put talents into if you have Improved Overpower.
Basically, with Imp OP and Unrelenting Assault you'll be spamming this baby a lot.

Gather around 4-5 monsters, rend each one, active Sweeping Strikes and spam OP! And if you wish, pop up Retaliation and you'll see numbers flying all over your screen.

I have done this countless of times and it's just incredible!

Note, the charge is consumed without regard to whether or not it's actually needed to execute. By that I mean, if you get a proc but don't have time to use it, and then they dodge, when you overpower, it will still use this charge, even though you didn't need to use it.

with the upcoming changes on the Buff Duration of this talent it is possible to have more than one charges of OP at one time.

Has anyone else seen a little delay in this ability proccing since the patch?
I ask because in PvE I've been using a standard "Charge, Mortal Strike, Rend" opening combo and I've noticed that even while my rend ticks, I sometimes have to wait until the first rend completely wears off or the mob dodges before the first Overpower will enable, and once that first one enables it seems like it works correctly from there on, but that's sometimes 10 seconds or more into the combat.

Yes, I do have all three talent points in it, and it says 100% chance whenever rend deals damage, but I can watch rend deal damage without this proccing, and this is prior to using it, so even the internal cooldown can't be causing it.

currently a way to bypass the internal cd.

#1 Rend, once Taste procs wait about 6 seconds before hitting OP.
#2 Your OP will be avail for use immediately again

EDIT: The ability is completely changed.

Now allows the use of overpower on every Mortal Strike, even if it's dodged/parried/blocked or misses. Doesn't affect crit chance, OP now passively has +60%.

Now has a 30% chance to allow another Overpower and increase the damage of your next Heroic Strike or Cleave within 15 sec by 100%, stacking up to 53 times (Patch 5.1)

if your enemy dodges (or parries, with the glyph) after you gain the Taste for Blood effect, your Overpower will eat the effect anyway, even though that Overpower would be a result of that dodge/parry in the first place.

That´s the reason to use the Overpower as soon as you get the buff.

In pvp if you save the buff from Taste for Blood for the last 3 seconds (6-9) you can get a "double-proc" which makes it easier to get Unrelenting Assault debuff on your target (caster).

This talent is the single most important talent for PvP arms. You can easily time your attacks using the Taste for Blood buff to get some really good burst damage.

You only want to use Overpower when your Taste for Blood has 4 seconds left to refresh. This is because Taste for Blood has a 5 second internal cooldown and Rend ticks every 3 seconds. When you apply Rend the Taste for Blood buff is applied with a 9 second timer, Rend ticks every 3 seconds and Taste for Blood has a 5 second ICD. This means that TfB "refresh" points are 9 seconds (when its applied), 6 seconds (but on ICD) and 3 seconds. Using that timeline if you use Overpower at 4 seconds on TfB then it will refresh at 3 seconds when rend ticks and you can use Overpower for a second time in the same global cooldown.
