The automatic proc of Earthliving Weapon is very welcome, helping you a tad to get a tank back up after successfully saving him from a spike.
With Cataclysm this also improves Chain Heal's and Healing Rain's procchance of Earthliving on low-health targets, however both of these spells have substantially lower base procchances, and hence will not increase to 100% chance on low-health targets.

Lovely talent for PvP as well. The 2% crit (on both offensive and defensive spells) alone is worth the point, and the guaranteed Earthliving is very handy for healing through burst damage.

The description isn't very clear though. Is the +4% crit bonus always active, or only on targets under 35%? Or does that under 35% stuff refer only to the application of earthliving?

Does the crit chance part show up on your stats screen or is it an additional 4% beyond what you get from your gear and base stats?

Now that the crit chance has been nerfed this talent seems somewhat unfair. Considering Cataclysm will have much in the way of triage healing most resto shamans will have to put points here, but it doesn't seem like a strong candidate for two talent points this late in the tree. Now if this were to allow something like Ancestral Fortitude to also proc off your Earthliving weapon effect in addition to the higher chance it would've been somewhat nicer and less of a slap this far down in the tree.

EDIT: On that note since it says it increases proc chance by 40/80%, I have to wonder whether that means it'll end up being 80/120% based off of earthliving's standard 40% proc. If that's the case perhaps 2 points are a bit overkill.

I understand it like u have 20% of giving earthliving on target above 35% and if they are under 35% the additional 80% would make it a 100% chance to get the Hot up on a target... but that can't be true as i checked on Chimaeron fight. where every one allmost allways are under the 10% hp and people didn't get earthliving hot every heal i did more like 66% of them

Actually, this talent increases the proc chance of your earthliving in relation to what the baseline proc chance is.

Talented 1/2, this looks like 1.4 X .2 = .28, or a 28% chance to proc on targets below 35% health.

Talented 2/2, this becomes 1.8 X .2 = .36, or a 36% chance to proc on targets below 35% health.

Thats why you don't see a 100% uptime vs Chimaeron.

this is untrue, one doesn't see 100% uptime during chimaeron because chain heal and healing rain have reduced chances to proc earthliving.

with 2/2 blessing of the eternals, direct h e a l s have a 100% chance to proc earthliving on targets below 35% health.

Is this worth taking for pvp? I mean not sure a couple of small ticks can make or break the match.
