I think the skill is bugged right now. At first I thought the "all enemies within 0 yards" was just a messup in the tooltip, but I noticed that the skill doesn't affect an enemy unless my bear is standing on it, which is a problem since the bear uses it on the way to the enemy rather than when it gets to it.

This skill is bugged in that although it does only work on mobs the bear is virtually standing on - ie 0 range, the bear will use the ability before he reaches the mob, blowing his cooldown. For this reason, if you're using a bear I would turn the ability off autocast for the start of each fight, but then you can turn it back on once he's fighting. It is still worth it imo, because 2 of these seem to be able to hold threat from 1 multishot from me (bm hunter though so pet is doing more with thundershock as well) but other tenacity pets do not hold from thundershock alone, so at this point, the bear would appear to be the best non-exotic pet for aoe tanking.

I think this ability alone would make bear pets THE best pet tank hands down. For single target tanking, no other tenacity pets has any outstanding single target ability that draws more threat. From this point of view, "bear pet=any other tenacity pet". When it comes to AoE tanking, no other tenacity pet has any AoE attacks except for the exotic worm.

However, the worm burrows, becoming untargetable/unattackable hence negating the purpose of having a pet tank. The other type of skill we would look for in a pet tank is survivability and the only other pet with this ability are beetles and turtles with their shield wall ability. But I would like to point out that they are defensive abilities and only have a 20% up time (12seconds every 1min) or 28.5% if beast master specced.

Whereas, the bear's demoralizing roar has a 100% up time at 20% the effectiveness of shell shield. Obviously, this would be geared toward longer fights and is less susceptible to damage spikes. While it is true that this ability does not gain any benefit from beast mastery, one must notice that it is an offensive ability. This means that demoralizing roar can still be used in raid for the 10% damage reduction debuff and hence more utility. (I have a prot war and I often forget to refresh demoralizing shout)

Not to mention the fact that demoralizing roar also generates a bit of additional threat so that the mobs might stick just that much longer to be multi-shotted down.

what i wonder is if it would stack with a similar effect from another class. Or if it can effect bosses.
