If you noticed, it says TOTAL Agility, so it's both base and item stat boost agility.

I don't think this talent is quite useful as there is less agility than crit / hit / ap stats on your gear in TBC.

While a pretty good ability as is, in patch 2.3.2 it gets buffed:

Sinister Calling now also increases the percentage damage bonus of Hemorrhage and Backstab by 2/4/6/8/10%.

What dose this mean exactly?

Hemo:
110%w --> 115%w?
If so, you get a little more then 4.5% damage increase.
(1.15w/1.10w)

How about Backstab?
150%w +465 --> 155%w +465?
Now you get no more then 1.5% damage increase.
(assuming ave wap-dam of ~250: (1.55*250+465)/(1.5*250+465) )

IF this is how its calculated, then Sinister Calling's damage bonus of Hemo is 3 times grater then Backstab.

Didn't Blizzard say they wanted Subtlety rogues to replace Hemo as combo generators with Backstab and use Hemo just for the debuff? This sure don't help!

yes but hemo hits for naff all anyway. Run up to someone in pvp with a great whopping slow MH weapon and watch a 3k hemo crit (wiht 5/5 lehtality). Lol get backstab instead with HAT, SftS, Puncturing wounds, and maybe a bit of Lethality. Now you have a move that costs 45 energy with a 50%+ crit chance, some extra crit damage with lethality, and if it crits it gives you 2CP's instead of 1 (HAT is basically improved seal fate applying to your party for less talent points). Out of stealth CP generation for deep subtlety burst specs is kinda solved if you can get behind your target, and the naff hemo damage is gone (its not actually worth spending the 30 emergy to get the debuff, as extra damage from backstab > than extra damage from hemo buff )

Also the extra agility gives you more dodge, more armor, more crit, as well as more AP, so combine this with deadliness (as any subtlety build should) and stack defensive stats until you have what you want (eg. how much res do you want?) then just get as much agility and AP as possible while meeting the soft hit cap. As gear now takes care of res, your main defensive pvp stat (especially with cheat death), gemming purely for offensive stats lets you offset some of the reduced damage inherent in pure pvp gear, while keeping the same survivability.

It's weird that this talent still boosts Hemorrhage in Cataclysm.

Couldn't they have just folded it into it baseline, since Subtlety is the only spec to get it anyway.
