This seems to follow Blizzard's plan to have healers try and deal some damage when there's nothing else to do. As of this post:
Druids obviously get fury of stormrage, as well as tree of life; according to a comment on the tree of life page, wrath will have its cast time reduced by 50% and damage increased by 30% while in tree of life form.
Holy priests get surge of light and chakra (as of this posting, chakra increases the damage holy and shadow spells do when you cast smite 3 times in a row).
Discipline priests get evangelism, archangel, and atonement. Holy priests can also get evangelism and archangel if they want, and they most likely will.
Shamans get focused insight and telluric currents.
Paladins get judgements of the pure and denounce.

Of all the healing classes, as of this post, druids seem to be the only class currently lacking a real need to deal any amount of damage other than for the sake of showing up on the damage meter. Hopefully this changes, and knowing Blizzard it probably will.

This is sadly the worst healer dps talent as it provides no healing benefit itself. if the wrath eliminated the cast time of healing touch or nourish then it would be worth it but for now it should be avoided unless you really want to do more dps as a healer and dont mind a loss to healing.

edit: removed out of date info. Also what i said is true, this is the worst dps talent for healers, and if you are using a healing cooldown (tree of life) for dps then unless you don't need to use it for the rest of the cd it was wasted and possibly caused a wipe because you wanted to be on the dps chart instead of doing what you are specced to do.

As of right now, this reduces the mana cost of Wrath by 100%.... that's pretty sweet if you ask me. If the situation calls for it, you can spam for some damage, with no loss to anything if no one immediatly needs heals. Great talent.

I'm taking advantage of this Talent with this macro. It's great because it casts Wrath on my target if it's an enemy or on my target's target if I'm targeting an ally. Extremely useful for just attacking what the tank is attacking to get the benefit of the Talent without having to focus on what to target. This also works on other similar spells(except Penance for obvious reasons) for other healers.

This talent is obviously made for pvp moreso than for pve, lets you cause some damage for free with wrath, and burst a little with a free starfire right afterward.
for pve i dont think anyone actually needs it, as wasting GCD on wrath might have you get a GCD when you need a flash swiftmend heal. but thats just my opinion, feel free to downrate.

An idea that hasn't been mentioned on this page yet. This talent can be used as a mana regeneration tool however it is VERY poor. With each free Wrath cast, you'll still have a chance at gaining an Omen Of Clarity proc giving you a free healing spell! Although, the time it takes to get just one free healing spell through omen of clarity from the time it takes to cast enough wrath's is too far to go for such a small amount of mana, it would be better to spend all that time spamming wrath with using more mana efficient/lower healing spells. There may still be some rare scenario in group PvE where this talent is useful though.

For PVE healing, this talent stinks as who is going to spend 2 talent points for something to do when they're bored. You could spam wrath anyway, it just would spend a little mana whilst doing it; if you run OOM from wrath spamming, respec balance.

For PVP healing, not sure this is much better. PVP healers have targets pasted all over themselves. As a warrior, mage, or rogue, I would smile gleefully at a druid who would take the time to cast wrath so I could not only mess that spell up but also all of the druid's heals.

This looks more like a talent that enables a resto(pve)/resto(pvp) specced druid to go out and do some quests without being so inept. Spam wrath until you get a proc; it would raise your dps quite a bit to get an instant cast nuke every 6 or so wraths. I like to quest, but think it would be easier to just go get a questing buddy rather than waste two talent points.

Sure, I'd like this talent to be like Atonement in the Disc Priest tree, but it would really make druids way too OP.

To be honest, this talent is not worth it at the time. There are too many better talents.
I've played around with it though, mainly sacrificing Living Seed and Furor. Putting points in Fury of Stormrage and Starlight Wrath.

When doing 5-man, we keep 3 stacks of lifebloom on the tank and if anyone else takes damage a wild growth will take care of it. The only situation you need to keep rejuv/regrowth on the tank is during big trash pulls. And during that time, a swiftmend usually keeps the whole group up depending on their positioning. This gives a lot of spare time.
During that time Wrath spamming can actually speed things up a bit, plus, it makes stuff less boring.
And you won't need Tree of Life for the healing output anyway. I almost thnk of Tree of Life as a resto "berserk".

These dps "bursts" are not good enough to affect the whole boss fight. But during certain boss phases, for example Sylvanas ritual in End Time, the dps burst can really save the day if the dps players are geared badly.

This has a place during raiding too. Especially since the release of LFR. Since it essentially means that at least ½ the raid will ignore any kind of tactics.Although, during serious raiding with a guild this should really be redundant since the dps will be miniscule compared to dps players that actually know what they are doing.
