There are small yellow orbs floating around, you right click to loot them. After you do, usually some of the ghosts walking around will attack.

Harrison disappeared for me after completing this quest. A simple relog to character selection fixed it

There are shiny bluish-white tiny orbs in the middle of the floating yellow ones that you'll be able to see from further away than the yellow orb things.

Advice: kill the surrounding mobs, then loot the starlights, rather than looting them and letting them attack you. They have a knockdown that they love to spam and it's incredibly annoying.

If you're a hunter put your pet on passive. Then after you grab the pieces feign death. They wont bother you at all and you can just fly to next one.

Ok so after Getting Neferset, I was stuck as well, but following your comments lead me back to Harrison Jones, Obelisk Of the Stars (location). Now lets hope we don't come across this again, pain in the arse!

After finishing the final Harrison quest "Do the Honors", I went back to Ramkahen and found another quest called "That Gleam in his Eye". Not sure if I'd missed this early or not. Questgiver is Adarrah

ADVICE

Kill the surrounding mobs around the floating orbs (at gound level) they will attack and swarm you if many are around.

Simply run away from them. Run about half way around the area, and they seem to loose interest in killing you.

This is yet another Lion King reference in the area. This quest name and it's preceding quest allude to Mufasa's talk with Simba about ancestors in the stars. This is supported by the hyenas, Skarf (Scar), and nearby quest Be Prepared which was completed before this one.

This is a great quest for those farming Embersilk,…

I noticed a great drop rate on embersilk from the “Indentured prospector
“ during this quest…however…once you loot the last suspended starlight, they disappear.

So I abandoned the quest, and got it again from Mr. Jones…They all came back and I just went around hitting the “Tab” key to help find/select them. And take them out one at a time…Got TONS of Embersilk which is important at this stage for my tailoring as well as first aid…They also drop a few BoE items too.

Just stay away from the tomb robbers (skeletons) and farm away.

I’m not looting any starlight or turning this quest in for a long time…The embersilk drops are just to good.

Simple trick to rid yourself of the annoying skeletons: Run over them, before you loot the starlight, on your mount. They will take about 3 seconds to aggro which is more than enough time for you to quickly fly up. Wait 2 seconds and skeletons despawn. Problem solved.

Two points of interest about this particular quest that stood out to me as a rogue:

1. The mobs that spawn all over, Indentured Protector, drop a fair amount of change (15-40 silver), as well as random grays, greens, as well as Embersilk Cloth. They have low enough health that they can be easily one shot, are plentiful, and can be farmed uninterrupted as it's a very specific phased part of the quest chain.

2. The mobs can also be pickpocketed for some additional change as well as junk boxes.

As an interesting side note, if you approach the statues in the corners of the room while stealthed and walk around them, they will respond as though they are hostile NPCs and turn to face you when they 'detect' your movement. They don't, however, attack, and will return to their normal facing positions after a few seconds.

If you "open" the sunlight then immediately use your flying mount to fly up (without looting the sunlight) you wont aggro the Protectors. Once you fly up and the protector says "Once a thief, I am now... etc" you can then safely land and re-loot the sunlight without having to fight.

Those mobs are immune to freezing effects, well not really "immune", but freezes just don't apply to them, however slow effects do

Thunderstorm won't damage them at all, you won't get any mana either.

This quest is also offered by Schnottz Scout, if for some reason you didn't take it from Harrison Jones when you turned in Lessons From the Past, although the text makes a lot less sense.

When you accept this quest you receive the Sapphire Spectacles, but you don't need to equip them. Beforehand you could see a few Indentured Protectors wandering around, but now that you have the Spectacles in your inventory you can see many many more, in addition to the Suspended Starlights.
