Judging by the item, 'Lovely Charm Collector's Kit' 's flavour text: "...for the collection of Lovely Charms from worthwhile enemies.", you ~~may need to engage in PvP combat to collect the charms. So you would need either 10 Honorable kills, 10 Killing Blows, or looting 10 Horde corpses, similar to the items in Alterac Valley.~~

Edit: You only need to kill something that gives exp.

Confirmed. Killed guys that gave xp and it dropped. Don't get one off of every mob, but its a decent drop rate. Killed 5 guys and got 2 of them already. You collect 10 of them to make the necklace.

Edit: Also, you don't "loot" them. They automatically are looted and put into your bags. Charms stack is 10 and you can make multiple bracelets, but they don't stack

They drop of the Crown Sprayer's in Crystalsong Forest, and yes they auto loot in to your bag into stacks of 10

Wagons and Crown Sprayers at 49,50 in Crystalsong Forest in Northrend. Just north of the lake in the Forlorn Woods.

Charms drop off Crown Sprayers.

All you need to do is kill NPCs that would give you XP. Obviously, at lvl80, this means that NPCs that are at least green.

Also, note that in this case, it does NOT matter, whether it was you who hit the NPC first or not. I don't really know if you can steal a kill eventually or not, but I have received Lovely Charms for killing NPCs that were already engaged by other players (and as such, their name was greyed out for me).

Posted for each of the four quests:
A Gift for the Lord of Ironforge
A Gift for the King of Stormwind
A Gift for the High Priestess of Elune
A Gift for the Prophet

Pick these up (an easy route is: portal to Ironforge, tram to Stormwind, boat and bird to Darnasus, bird and boat to Exodar).

You will have your Lovely Charm Collector's Kit (from picking up the first quest). To get the Lovely Charms, you don't need to go to the NPCs in the area described in Crushing the Crown. Of course you can, if you want to, but it's liable to be crowded and you don't need that hassle. Simply having the collector's box on you gives you one charm for each NPC you kill (you don't have to loot them, as they auto-appear in your inventory). The NPCs have to be green or above to you.

You can kill them anywhere, but I found that the most useful way to get the charms that you need is to run heroics. You don't even realise that you are collecting, because you are focussed on the run. At the end of the run, you should have (nearly) enough for at least one Lovely Charm Bracelet. You've also got yourself some emblems, gold and perhaps a bit of gear too.

If you don't want to do it that way, then killing any NPCs that are green to you (meaning that they could grant experience, if you needed it) will do. Take the reverse route to hand the bracelets in. These are four simple dailies, with some nice gold and some currency for fun stuff (Imagine a screenshot of your next raid-boss kill, featuring all members in dinner suits!).

The love charms drop in the battlegrounds as well, but I believe you need to have the killing blow in order for it to 'drop'.

In order to get love charms, you should head over to Crystalsong Forest and kill as many unbound seers as you can. They're level 78, easy to kill, but the drop chance isn't 100% so you'll have to kill more than 10.

its a bit confusing but you dont have to loot them, you yust recieve them after killing a Crown Sprayer's the ones in Crystalsong Forest!

you do /not/ need to kill specific mobs in crystalsong. any mob will qualify for this quest, be it inside or out of a dungeon (i'm assuming only if they reward xp or an honorable kill, hence the "worthwhile enemies" detail). however, i'm pretty sure you do need to have the killing blow or at least damage the target in order to be eligible for the lovely charm drop. i'm basing this on the fact that any dungeons i've healed so far, the dps and tank are able to collect them, but not a single one would drop for me. so, looks like we healers are SOL. can anyone confirm/deny this?

Best way to farm them is to do culling of stratholme, every zombies can drop them and they always respawn <3

Just did https://www.wowhead.com/cata/quest=11153, and got 20 charms in 25 kills. (At lvl 70). Just by throwing the bombs on them.

Continued without handing in quest and still is a pretty good droprate. 1 in 3 it seems like.

Did https://www.wowhead.com/cata/quest=11391, and here I got 3 drops in 8 kills and 2 more drops killing off about 10 more before handing in quest.

All in all a good and easy way to get the charms to create the bracelet.

Blizzard removed this in the new patch. You don't get drops anymore.

I think you may be right, and I would be a little suprised if they don't hotfix this. I've run 3 heroics today and the healers were the only ones not getting any charms to drop. Also it's not necessarily mobs that give you XP that makes it drop or lvl 80's would never get any. For my lvl 80 it drops from lvl 80-83 mobs I've gotten the killing blow on. So far I've only gotten them in mobs I've killed in heroics.

Yes, I've just been healing in Pit of Saron and kept seeing others receiving the charms, but not one for me.... :-( Oh well, will have to get my mage on the case and transfer them from her lol.... problem is I don't usually do many heroics with her these days. Usually one a day for the Frosties... :-)

I did Culling of Stratholme and walked out with 30 charms in one run. That was a lot easier than facing the 20 Horde camping out in Forlorn Woods. :D

I found the easiest way to get alot of them fast was to do the Static Shock Troops: the Bombardment quest. I did the quest and received around 50 of them because you are just flying around in the bomber dropping bombs. You get the quest in Aldur'thar: The Desolation Gate. The quest giver is Kibli Killohertz. Coordinates are 53,42

An easy way i found to farm those tokens/bracelets is to:

1. go to southern Icecrown- the place where the argent dailys are at (Battle Before the Citadel, etc)

2. get on the provided mounts like you would if you were to do the quests (which you might as well do at the same time since you're down there)

3. run over all of the Boneguard Footmen

easy tokens; if you wish to not die after aggroing everything you can just run up the stairs a 3rd of the way or so and wait till you lose aggro. (and don't forget to try keeping those shields up :P)

Also if you're a Nelf druid, you can just alternate between running up the stairs near death, and getting dismounted- after which you Shadowmeld and fly off easily ;P

Cannot find King Varian Wrynn for turning in this quest as of patch 4.0.3. Phasing issue? Also unable to deliver the daily quest in Ironforge to King Magni Bronzebeard, although the NPC is there and the question mark displays on map.

Well I believe drop was increased. Done two quest for Tol Barad. Had to kill 12 spiders and 14 ghost...only got 6 from doing so. Only good thing I can say is atleast I'll be half way done my dailies for Tol Barad by the time I get all 10.

The best spot is probably the elemental at the entrance of Hyjal! they respawn SUPER fast and they drop almost every 2 kill they are level 80 so easy to kill 4+ at the time. As a warlock i just have to dot them as soon as i see them and they die wile i run to get more elemental! EASY pie! ^.^

This quest is bugged alot. sometimes the king aint even there. mayby not the quest's fault but just to be warn that it will take some time to hand in quest if king is dissapered

I had no problem doing both at the same time. What I DID notice is the game decides when you get either item and sometimes you will get a long string of one item before you get another of the other.

A good place to farm these for 85's is in Hyjal on the Fiery Instructors. Green level 80's, easy kill decent grouping. Good for herbalists as well, because you can farm along the way.

You can follow the same technique as Toggol described for getting 250 Grisly Trophies:

Here's a quick way for non-dps specs to complete this quest. This method requires you to have unlocked the The Shadow Wardens portion of the Molten Front daily quests.

Accept the quest Enduring the Heat. While running through the cave, stop over each Flame Protection Rune which will grant you the Flame Protection Rune buff; this will negate most of the incoming fire damage. Allow the elementals to spawn and attack you until there are about 6 nearby. At that point, use the rune to instantly kill the elementals. The elementals tend to despawn if they've been around too long without being attacked.

Repeat this process for all but one of the Runes so you don't accidentally complete the quest. Run out of the cave to reset the runes.

Edit for clarification: This post is assuming Blizzard changes the quest so it works as it is worded: "Trophies are obtained as long as you kill creatures that offer experience or honor." This is a way to get 250 kills at level 85, against mobs that grant experience, without swinging a weapon.

By the way, it is possible to do both quests at the same time. The beauty of this technique is the high spawn rate of the elementals, allowing you to get Grisly Trophies and/or Lovely Charms at a very fast rate.

The best way to get these are by doing your TB dailies. I'm a healer so I barely ever get any, but changing to my dps spec and going to TB to do my dailies, I got quite a few by the time I was done. I do think that needing 10 per bracelet is a bit much for dailies when you need 4 of them a day, but eh, I guess that's for people that don't have two other world events to finish.

Obtaining Love Tokens

DAILIES - Total 30 Love Tokens per day

This daily has several incarnations - one for each level range listed below. It involves killing 5 mobs and using the bomb you are given to blow up a wagon. The location where you complete the quest varies with level. The types of mobs you are sent to kill, as well as the locations of the quests are listed below.
The quest is obtained from Detective Snap Snagglebolt in Orgrimmar (outside Grommash Hold) or Inspector Snip Snagglebolt in Stormwind (outside the bank in Trade District), depending on your faction.
Completing ANY of the below quests for the first time will grant you the achievement Dangerous Love.

Random Daily - 5 Love Tokens per day
Each day you are able to complete 1 of 2 random dailies (depending on your character's gender), available from a Public Relations Agent. A Public Relations Agent is present in every major city, next to Kwee Q. Peddlefeet and the Lovely Merchant (Holiday vendor). Accepting this quest from any Public Relations Agent will prevent you from obtaining the quest in any of the other cities. The quests are listed below:

If you have a male character, you will randomly get either Bonbon Blitz or A Cloudlet of Classy Cologne; female toons randomly get Bonbon Blitz or A Perfect Puff of Perfume. The quests involve either throwing a candy sample or spraying cologne/perfume on 10 other players or NPCs. Your quest item (chocolates or cologne/perfume) will only work on targets that have not received a scent or chocolate in the last 10 minutes (i.e. they must be free of Sample Satisfaction, a 10 minute debuff placed on targets when they are sprayed or pelted with candy!). Targets with Sample Satisfaction have a heart above their heads, so avoid them. Some NPCs are invalid targets as well.
Faction leader gift dailies - 5 Love Tokens per quest, total 20 Love Tokens per day
Each faction has a set of 4 quests, each of which starts at Kwee Q. Peddlefeet in the appropriate city, and involves turning in a Lovely Charm Bracelet in to the appropriate leader. Lovely Charm Bracelet is created by combining 10 Lovely Charms together. Lovely Charms are obtained by killing enemy players/NPCs that grant honor or experience while having Lovely Charm Collector's Kit in your bag. Note that Lovely Charm Collector's Kit is provided to you (if you don't already have one) by accepting each of the following quests, or by asking Peddlefeet for one directly. Clicking the starting location link for each quest below will show you on the map where Kwee Q. Peddlefeet can be found in each city.

During the Love is in the Air event, you are able to queue for a the holiday bosses - the Crown Chemical Co. trio of Apothecary Hummel, Apothecary Frye and Apothecary Baxter. The first time you defeat the holiday bosses each day, you receive a Heart-Shaped Box, which contains 5-10 Love Tokens, Justice Points, and a chance for other rare items.

VENDOR - Unlimited Love Tokens per day
Love Tokens can be purchased from a Lovely Merchant. These merchants can be found next to Kwee Q. Peddlefeet in any major city (see locations above for details). 1 Love Token from the vendor costs 1 Lovely Charm Bracelet.
As mentioned above, Lovely Charm Bracelets are created by combining 10 Lovely Charms, and Lovely Charms can be farmed by killing level appropriate enemy players or NPCs with Lovely Charm Collector's Kit is in your bag. A great way to farm Lovely Charm/Lovely Charm Bracelet is in Icecrown near The Fleshwerks (around 38,70) where Risen Soldier and Summoned Soldier spawn, it's a small area and these mobs respawn REALLY fast, are level 80 and have around 4k health.

Also, the Lovely Charm are not looted, they are generated directly into your inventory (just need to have Lovely Charm Collector's Kit in your bags), and more importantly, they are generated for everyone in the party, no matter if you did the killing blow or even if you hit a mob. So, if you are farming the place, don't be an ass and invite others too! Spread the love!
