If you go low on health and don't want to die, you can just leave the arena and dismount to drink. You won't fail the quest and you can easily enter it again to take on the remaining foes for your quest.

If you're not careful, u can get multiple bears attacking you at once. Try to get those either solo around the sides or attack another bear already in combat. You can run out and they will disengage but i didnt find a need to do so really.

Also again. just charge, maul and smash when ur charge is almost up again. If they do a knockback on you. Run towards them to avoid their Charge and Stun effect. Easy quest and fun.

You have to have completed the entire quest line that starts with They Took Our Men! for this quest line to open up. This quest line starts with The last of her kind.

I had an issue with newly spawned riders attacking me instead of my bear. I simply dismounted right there in the pit, bandaged up and remounted.

You have to make sure that you kill "Un tagged" mobs, I was wondering why I dident get any "kill counts", but found out that if NPC's has been fighting and you join in on the fight and kill em both, you wont get kill counts for it, atleast I dident (:

Make sure you don't Smash your oppenents too far out of the ring because if you do your opponents HP will be reset and you'll leave combat.

There is chance you're fighting to another npc outride the ring but HP is not resetted.
And while on mount, you can run around... But you cannot mount outside the ring.
Outside the village area, the mount is removed.

Thanks for the tip about smashing them outside of the ring. This is a terribly frustrating quest because you have to kill the ones on the outer ring to avoid getting aggro from the center mobs, yet you can't smash them outside or they de-aggro on you completely. The best way seems to be to kill the ones on the outer ring and mostly use maul.

these guys hurt YOU too, not just your bear. just keep on eye on you hp and you should be fine. if u get off the bear then all the bad guys turn "green" again so you can eat.

OK there is a saddle in your bags that the Matriarch gives to you. It summons the bear mount needed for this quest. A friend and I just spent SO long trying to figure out where to get that stupid bear!

I gotta problem with this quest, I've now killed about 12 bears but I don't get credit for it. I'm taking on solo bears who werent in fight and then I kill them, but no credit. Does this not count because my bear kills them or wtf? it's starting to get annoying.

How do you get off the darn bear to turn in your quest. mine is complete but i cannot click on her. She does have the yellow question on top of her head and everything.
BTW, my bear died on me twice. i just ran over to an open spot in the ring and rezzed it again and finished the quest. i hope, if i can turn it in. it says complete in the log.

Ran into an issue with this quest and the previous one, The Warm-Up. I couldn't use the primary attack ability while running it on a level 78 Goblin Shaman. Dismounted from the bear and remounted several times, and used the /reload command to reload the UI. Don't know if any of my add-ons caused the issue, but I've not had trouble with them doing funny things to the vehicle UI before.

The pit is just outside the questgiver. Make sure you don't fight to close to others that aren't in combat with other bears

Sometimes you'll end up with 2 or 3 npc bears attacking you so just run out of the pit and they'll reset, it helps to watch your health also as well as your bears, you should be able to take out the 6 easily if it's only one or two on you at a time, three and four is where it starts becoming problematic.
