Overall, I thinking Vicious Gladiator's is better. 5MHDPS and 8agi will probably offset the mastery depending on your EPs.

I would probably rock Vicious Gladiator's for the main hand (Higher DPS is king...) with the offhand being the claw. 94 hit rating and 90 haste (reforged to Mastery if all others capped) would probably be a better even with the slightly less DPS as it would let me unforge more desirable stats from hit rating to something else.

Sorry guys this will not be similar to the Primal Blessing Set it was a one shot deal you could only get it from Vanilla to PreCata. The set is no longer obtainable but instead replaced by these. Anyone who was lucky enough to get the set got to keep the original set but Thekal's Claws / Arlokk's Claws do not give the set bonus like the original 60 version. Blizzard does not intend to make these like the 60 version therefor you will rarely see the Primal Blessing Set anymore.

Getting these matching Fists is a real pain in the ass. Half the groups you get into don't even have a guy with Arch to spawn the boss. So basically the only reliable way you'll see this boss more than 1/3 to 1/2 the time is to work up the prof yourself. And getting Arch to 425 takes an eternity. It's a middle finger from Blizzard. Work this stupid time sinking prof all the way to 425 or you can't spawn this boss! Hahaha! Without the prof, you may as well just leave the group. I've been leaving half my ZG groups or more because no one has the prof, and the Cache is the only boss I'm even after. Stupid design, huh? Instead of clearing a dungeon in which I'll get nothing out of, I'd rather spend that time working the stupid prof... which is what I do during que.... yay... /yawn

After that load of BS, you then have the problem of this being a 1 in 8 drop rate, which is among the WORST of drop rates for items. Most items are 1 in 5, giving you a good chance to see your target item in 5-10 runs. But 1 in 8? I've done the Cache of Madness at least 20 times and I've yet to ever see this Fist even once. Most of the time it doesn't even spawn the correct boss, because he's a 1 in 4 random spawn. A 1 in 2 drop off a 1 in 4 boss translates into 1 in 8 drop chance, which is beyond horrible.

GL to anyone wanting to dual wield these matching fists. Took 2 dozen runs just to get ONE of them. I've yet to see the other one at all. But oh I've seen that worthless gun and sword at least 5 times each that no one ever even wants.(They get sharded every time) I honestly think it's less than 1 in 8 because I've seen the gun and sword drop repeatedly, much more often than the fists(The main hand fist I've yet to ever even see). Another cruel joke from Blizzard to gimmick you into playing the game longer. Grinding=Time=Monthly fees.

I'm hopelessly dedicated to getting my set, forcing me to grind up this stupid prof so I can at least spawn the boss myself every run. I've probably spent 20 hours total digging and I'm not even to 375 yet. Hope you're fu cking happy Blizzard.

All that work for "matching fists" - that arent even good for any class except possibly enh shamans. You're wasting your time bro, and wasting your breath whining to blizzard about this.

You need arch at 225 to summon (425 for dungeon buff quest)

Most groups tend to have arch member that can summon that.

Been lucky, both claws dropped for me after over 5-6 runs and no other folks needed. Is really enhance shammy gear set but can have some rogues after the coolness.

Without sounding too conspiratorial here, this is another example of weapons that are tailored for Enhancement Shaman and yet made unreasonably difficult to obtain. The other examples are Claws of Torment , Maimgor's Bite , and Claws of Agony (Yes, there's STR, but as a set the bonus is Enh-worthy). All three are BoE that drop from trash. So while there are great weapons for other classes with consistent drops from bosses, Enhancement is stuck relying on RNG, buying of the AH for 30k, or the kindness of their guild to give it to them.

Granted, there are other weapons available that suffice. but the BiS or close to seem to be more difficult to obtain for Enh versus other classes.

This hasn't been mentioned yet. As of patch 4.2, this item's surface is reflective. The sister item Arlokk's Claws is still regular black, however.

Along with many other main-hand specific fist weapons in the game, such as Fist of Deity , Talon of the Pheonix, and Claw of Molten Fury, this will become one-hand in MoP, and will finally be usable in either hand (and transmog to either hand).
