Decent when used in PvP in conjunction with Improved Shadowform.

I find the minor glyph for fade to seem far more useful than the major glyph.

Major Glyph - Glyph of Fade

Minor Glyph - Glyph of Fading

The Major Glyph whilst increasing the duration, also increases the cooldown which seems to me to negate the increase in duration a bit.

The Minor Glyph however does nothing but reduce the mana cost which when used in conjuction with Improved Shadowform will result in it costing the priest 30% less mana to remove all movement impairing effects and add a 70% reduction to cast time lost whilst in imp shadow form casting or channeling a shadow spell

Particularly in PvP 30% less mana to recieve these bonus is a lot more desirable but also in PvE where snares or are are present the reduced mana cost is handy.

Your Fade ability now has a 100% chance to remove all movement impairing effects when used while in Shadowform, and reduces casting or channeling time lost when damaged by 70% when casting any Shadow spell while in Shadowform.

Wouldn't they split it into two sentences if it wasn't fade that triggers the 70% interruption ?

Always having 70% interuption would be overpowered in my opinion, but it is written very unclear.

Fade doesn't add the 70% interruption resist, it's just a passive buff you get with improved shadowform. And it's not 70% reduction to cast time lost, it's a 70% chance to resist pushback.

It is cast time lost. Look at the spell. Improved Shadowform

The first two hits reduce your cast time by 0.5 sec and with Imp SF it reduces this to 0.175 sec on each hit. (This assuming no spell haste)

Also if I understand correctly it guarantees 2 ticks of Mind Flay while being hit in most circumstances.

And I also can confirm the resistance is active all the time, not just while Shadowform is active.

This glyph along with Glyph of Levitate and Glyph of Shadofiend are the ones I personally think are most useful of the Minor Priest Glyphs available on live as of this posting.

In Mists of Pandaria, this glyph is being changed so that Shadow Orbs will actually show as Shadow Ravens - simply an aesthetic change (an awesome one at that).

NEW: Glyph of Shadow Ravens - Your Shadow Orbs now appear as Shadow Ravens.
