This will probably only be useful in PvP, since you're constantly getting hit. Not sure if it's even a good idea to rez a pet in arena while getting beat on. In PvE you hardly get hit anyway, so spell pushback on a 4 sec cast (talented) looks a bit lacklustre to me =(

On pve usefulness:
Don't forget that we have better aoe now, with Volley being off CD and doing solid damage.

And when you've stretched the limits and md'ed your pet/siced it at all the mobs to make sure it has solid aggro on all, dropped your explosive trap and started firing said volleys, you realize you took it a little too far and your pet bites the dust. They're now all pounding on you and you don't want to FD. It might resist and you might only have time for this one group of mobs before Curling practice... THAT'S when you're gonna be really, really, incredibly, unbelievably happy you've got this glyph. Oh, and you might want to hit mend/feign and then deterrence (to fend off those who resisted feign) at this point ;)

Like I would be casting Revive Pet with someone hitting me anyway :p

I guess it can be usefull in pvp to dodge that "last-second" interrupt, or at bosses with some kind of aoe, but it's use is rather limited imo.

I think this could be very useful when soloing Elite Quests(such as the Mastery ones in Nagrand) where your pet can't take the beating all the way.
Assuming that the mob won't be able to kill you during the four seconds cast time(talented), you'll be able to ressurect your pet and throw a Mend Pet before feigning. Also, with the Heart of the Phoenix pet talent, this allows your pet to resurrect three times in one fight -- Could be more, considering there's no cooldown on Revive Pet.

Some people might think "Who needs to ressurect their pet more than three times a battle?", I think this could be used when trying to solo Burning Crusade - or Pre-TBC - raids in the expansion, and with the change of AotV you will never be able to go oom.

Don't underestimate it. Its prolly one, if not the one, most useful in the arena. If you don't utilize your pet you are a bad hunter. The good teams know this and will put some dots on a hunter pet. This glyph is great because it does in fact mean that you can use revive pet when being hit.

This glyph together with scare beast is the way to go for arena.

(Its totally useless in pve tho!)

This is useless for pvp. Pvp is too fast-paced. If you take time to rez your pet, you're dead.

To anyone calling this useless: in a group situation, a pet is still going to represent around 20% of your total damage even on MM and SV spec'd hunters. Think about that for a second. If you leave your pet dead, you are seriously nerfing your own dps. Sure, the lack of pushback is fairly minor due to the changes in how pushback works, but anything which helps you get such a large portion of your damage back is worthwhile.
