I would like to note that you CANNOT stack several glyphs of the same type to increase the effect. Upon attempting to inscribe a duplicate Glyph at the Lexicon of Power you recieve the message:

"That Glyph is already inscribed in your spellbook."

With patch 3.0.9, having this glyph is the only way to get off a Pom-AP-Pyro off. AP has a 15 sec shared cooldown on pyro so with this glyph you have 3 more seconds to cast your POM-Pyro while AP is active.

Actually increasing the time arcane power is up by 3 seconds doesn't permit to make a PoM spell, because PoM doesn't get a 15 sec cd, simply it goes on CD as the Arcane blast buff is still up. If you remove it rightclikking, PoM turn it available (unless it was on cd when you activate arcane power).
So, 3 seconds are like 2 more spell tossed out, but i don't like it too much. Arcane glyphs are pretty bad compared to fire and frost glyph :P

This looks like it has real potential to turn the tables. Casting Arcane Power with a macro that casts Blink, Mana Shield, and Mirror Images at one time sounds insane (if all are available).

Blink provides distance.

Mana Shield offers some defense (along with damage and a possible knockback if specced into Incanter's Absorption).

Mirror Images may provide some confusion and huge damage potential if you are still wearing 4pt10.

And last but not least, you've casted Arcane Power...

Hmmm will have to test something... can you cast Mirror Image, then Arcane Power and another Mirror Image straight away effectively giving you 6 copies of yourself and stacking damage buff of 2x18%= 36% dmg from T10?

To make this as simple as I can, this glyph is useful for PVE, but VERY useful for PVP

This will allow you to instantly cast 3 spells at once without triggering any global cooldown. Casting these three spells (assuming you can cast all 3) would usually require 4.5 seconds with the gcd.

For PVP, assume you are in trouble. Using a macro, you can instantly blink away, cast mirror image, and put up mana shield, essentially giving arcane mages an "oh sh*t button" :)

Pretty much a waste of a Glyph - a macro such as:

/cast Arcane Power
/cast Mirror Image
/cast Mana Shield

Will NOT work.

I tried this glyph and I fail. However, it does reset the GCD... kinda, you just can't use it in a macro.

Still currently broken

However I did use the following simple macro and I was able to cast all four spells with only two GCDs. Odd...

Totally broken right now, not just unusable in macros. Even having Blink, MS and MI on 1, 2 and 3 will not allow you to use the at the same time. Not to mention they all trigger GCD anyway.

Despite the patch notes containing two references to this, it's still broken. From the notes:

Arcane Power now has its tooltip updated when Glyph of Arcane Power is active.
Glyph of Arcane Power should correctly reduce the global cooldown of Blink, Mana Shield, and Mirror Image to 0.

That should allow the following macro to work:

/cast Arcane Power
/cast Mana Shield
/cast Mirror Image
/use Mana Gem

The tooltip is updated as they say, but the macro stops after Mana Shield, just like it always has.

This is a real shame, because this is a big part of an arcane mage's standard rotation and as gimped as arcane is right now, we could really use any kind of boost.

Here's hoping blizz gets on the ball with this soon.

I figured out how to make this right, thanx to nkboy2 for a little macro inspiration :)

The best try I've had is this:

The Arcane Power spell has to be active when you cast your macro for this to work, as the tooltip of this glyph clearly states. When Arcane Power is active use the following macro:

/castsequence Mana Shield
/cast Mirror Image
/cast Blink

You can also bind other stuff to this macro such as
/cast Mana Gem
/use Vicious Gladiator's Badge of Dominance
but I prefer having one macro for the glyph-of-Arcane-Power-trick, and one macro for gem/trinket.

The macros below have been tested. They work.
Use Glyph of Mirror Images.
The glyph is not bugged.
Mirror Image and Mana Shield are not included in the first tap, because they aren't off the gcd until after the first tap.

Double-tapping this macro will instantly buff Arcane Power, Mana Gem, and Mirror Image, and cast Arcane Blast. The third tap will buff Mana Shield and cast another Arcane Blast. The 4th through 7th taps will cast Arcane Blast. The 8th tap will do nothing, so you'll have to switch back to your regular Arcane Blast button after 3-7 taps of this one.

Ok for those who were confused like I was.
This glyph does work.

But remember it resets the GLOBAL COOL DOWN e.g. resets the 1 seconds between spamming your buttons.
It does not reset your the Cool down of Mirror Image (3 minutes) or Blink (15Seconds) or Mana Shield (12 Seconds)

So if you're choosing to use all three spells Mirror Image, Blink and Mana Shield after casting Arcane Power then this glyph is only good for saving you 3 seconds.

So you can use a macro like this

/castsequence reset=120 Arcane Power, Arcane Blast, Mana Shield, Mana Gem, Mirror Image, Arcane Blast

Arcane Power = reset GCD
Arcane Blast, just a random spell to set off the GCD.
now you'll can spam the buttons crazy without waiting 1 sec in between the spells between Arcane Blast and Arcane Blast.

If I added Blink in there then I'll save 3 to 4 seconds worth of GCD waiting.
