Very good leggings for a hunter, judging by the ilvl these seem to drop from Black Temple or Mount Hyjal

These are arguably better than the hunter tier 6 legs (https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=31005#z0z), however this is a matter of opinion and spec and what gems you have access to.

When compared with the Gronnstalker's Leggings, you get:

-5 agility
+15 stamina
-1 critical strike rating
+6 attack power
+11 mp5
-1 Blue socket
-1 Yellow Socket
2 agility vs 4 crit rating socket bonus.

Considering you must be very highly progressed to get these legs, you probably would have access to high stat gems and enchants (dropped from trash and bosses in these instances).

The agility from these legs pretty much cancel out the attack power and then some.

So you're left with a Blue socket and a yellow socket vs 11 mp5 and 15 stamina. However, being a raiding hunter you could find better use with different stats such as agility, crit rating, and attack power than 15 stamina. The 11 mp5 loss is harsh, but it depends on what you need.

Of course, I would take the gronnstalker leggings over these any day just to show off my pimp tier 6 armor :p

Then again this is just a matter of opinion and stat needs.

Considering an end game raiding hunter there are basically 3 setups for 4 peice tier 6:

* 4 peice tier 6 + bow stitched leggings
same DPS according to cheeky spreadsheet as 4 peice + forest prowler helm with 8mp5 contribution to set.

* 4 peice tier 6 + beast tamer shoulders
10-15 lower overall personal DPS (when your pet is dead) however 1-2 dps loss on 7700 armor target when your pet is alive. 19 mp5 contribution from tier 6.

* 4 peice tier 6 + forest prowler helm
same dps as tier 6 + bow stitched leggings but with 11mp5 contribution to set.

for maximum dps where you can chug alot of mana pots i'd stick with the forest prowler helm.

For slacker bt hunters who dont have super rejuv, fel mana, and super mana pots, the shoulders may be best for you because of the higher mp5.

The legs appear to be the worst choice according to analysis on cheeky spreadsheet because of the loss of 3mp5 for same dps as forest prowler helm.

Regardless of what Cheeky's Spreadsheet says, let's just do a simple breakdown on the mp/5 on a fight like Illidan ye?
Guess normal kill time is around 19 minutes or so.
That's 228 mp/5 ticks which equals 2508 mana gained with T6 leggings, 2 more gem slots > a Super Mana Potion.
There's so many other ways to gain mana... Illidan bow, JoW and all the other standard buffs.

None set leggings > none set helm due to 2 more gem slots.

Hands down the best hunter (and possibly wannabe melee shamans) leggings ingame, assuming you already have 4/4 T6 (Helm, Shoulders, Chest and Gloves).

best survival hunter leggings in the game, I can't wait to equip these on my hunter.
3 +10 Agi gems with the Nethercleft Leg Armor is too much agi to ignore.

These are better legs then the plate DPS legs from Archi. Thanks blizzard for the nice itemisation for fury warriors.

100AP+talented=110AP, 3x+10strength=30strength=60AP+talented=66AP(with BoK=73AP)

110+66=176AP.
I already looked at it and it has a bit over 2.5% crit for a warrior.

Archilegs have 70strength=140AP+talented=154AP(+BoK=169AP)

And 2% crit.

The first one that sais that bit of hit makes the plate ones better gets a slap, I'm overcapped with hit anyway as it is.

Is their any plate drop thats the best DPS for a furywarrior in game anywhere?

Want to know how u count the AP value of these pants in the expansion ...
The AP value in the expansion of these leggings is 170, compared to https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=34385 its a diffrence of 55 AP!
Strengh counts as 1 AP
