Haven't seen anyone mention it yet, can more than 1 person target these? Since they seem hard to get, i was wondering if I could take a group of ppl and we all use it to get the achievement.

Does anyone know if they will still be around after the Love is in the Air event? I know it says Duration: 10 day... but will it still be destroyed, because I'm not yet 80 and I want to get the title. So if i get 80 within 10 days does that mean I can get it?

Edit: Confirmed you can do this past the holiday, as long as you have a love fool to pity.

Does anyone know if there are any restrictions in receiving these, I've had about 225 gifts and not received one love fool or bag of candies. I'm playing on a level 75 character, but I doubt that makes a difference

I know similar things have been said here earlier. Just adding some tips in there that I learned while doing it.

Arathi Basin - Drop inside the black smith in the middle of the battleground. (or around it, I find inside easier to get done if you just wanna do it and leave)
Culling of Stratholme - Take the portal from Dalaran (violet citadel, upper floor to the left). CoS is located directly south of the entrance to the lair. (south east of the lair) Just go in and drop it inside the entrance and then you can leave.
Winter Grasp - Easiest to do this is when the portal there is up in the portal room in dalaran. If you go there by mount, remember that it's a no-fly zone
Gurubashi Arena - This is in Stranglethorn Vale You can't get this outside the arena itself even though the minimap shows you as in the arena. Make sure the minimap sais "Battle Ring"
Naxxramas - You need to be in a raid group (can consist of only two people) and enter. For those that hasn't you need to go up under the flying building and into it.

ok this is a bit of an odd question but, I am one achievement away from getting Love fool and its for doing Pity the fool, I have all but Naxxramas because of my current level(78). The season has passed but I still have 4 more days before my Love fools despawn, Even though i will eventually find out by myself, does anyone know if the achievement can be achieved outside of the season?

Just to make things clear:
You purchase these from the LiitA vendor, for 10 Love Tokens.
The Love Fools *are sold in SINGLES now, not stacks of 5.
You can purchase Love Tokens from the aforementioned vendor for 1 Lovely Charm Bracelet.
You create a Bracelet with 10 Lovely Charms.
Ergo: 1 Love Fool = 10 Love Tokens = 10 Lovely Charm Bracelets = 100 Lovely Charms

My question is... are they trade-able? I'd like to use my alt's love tokens to buy a love fool stack, but don't want to waste the tokens if they're not trade-able. They don't mention a duration on them yet, but if blizzard decides to hotfix that, they're no longer trade-able, correct?

I believe the reason that your not able to post it in the AH is becasue once its bought by someone it is sent to them in the mail and conjured items are not able to be mailed. Conjured items are able to be traded (unless they say soulbound) .

The Love Fool crate is purchased with 10 love tokens which are obtained by doing quests for the 'Love is in the Air' world event. You will only get 1 dummy from 1 box.
the items can be traded,but not via maibox or ah ,for the reason they are a 'limited Duration' item which wll expire after 10 days.

Once you have purchased the crate take it one of the 5 locations as specified within your achievement log 'I Pitied the Fool'.
Have the text ready ...../pity
then click the crate and place the dummy down on the ground .
Target the dummy and hit the enter key to pity the dummy with the text you have ready.

The dummy will only remain on the ground for a short duration, so dont forget to have your text already written before placing the dummy.

bought them on the 20th and they had disappeared from my bags by the 24th... so much for the 10 day duration. Was only 1 level short of 80 and the Love Fool title too..

if you have problems with buying something this year try the macro :

/run BuyMerchantItem(11)

simple talk with merchant, count which number that specific item have , change the number in macro if needed... then run it still talking with merchant... and there you go - product is in your bag. :)

Do NOT use the Love Fool in front of the stairs in Wintergrasp because it will be used but no Love Fool will be put down. To be safe, go to the snow and use it there.

You will need *5* of these, in total, if you so wish to complete the related I Pitied The Fool achievement.

I had a bunch of these (9?) in my bag and was looking forward to trying one or two out but they disappeared after about 24 hours.

Not sure if this was a glitch but I have seen holiday-related stuff disappear pretty quickly in the past, so I'm going to hazard a wild guess that the real fool here was me, for expecting these to be real.

My achievement took a while to register at Arathi Basin on WOTLK on Feb 2023.
I don't know if they have added some sort of minimum time spent inside the BG (which is actually nice if they did) or if that was just a visual bug.
