there are no books on the table for me. could be because i have done the stranglethorn quest up to where booty bay is on fire.. can anyone confirm that the book is or is not there?

ok finished the questline.. books are there again.

anyone knows where in ashenvale the book is located? i tryed finding this Tandann Lightmane dude but no luck
found him and the book. he is in the ground floor of the small building next to the largest building in Astranaar/Ashenvale. the book is behind him to the right on a table

I found this today in Booty Bay. Go to The Salty Sailor Tavern, go up the stairs to the second floor. It is on the table directly in front of you when you come up the stairs.

Just a note to Horde who go for this in Ashenvale that there are 85 Gaurds around so watch out for them. I managed to fly in, read, and fly out while being shot at, only dropping to 70% HP.

Guys...it's not that amazing if you get the first comment. We can tell by your post. You don't have to tell us. Saying something important and having it be the first comment is much better than haveing a post saying "WOO! FIRST COMMENT" We don't need that.

This is a book you get in Booty Bay, the full context is:

Sunwell - The Fall of Quel'Thalas
Though he had defeated all of the people he now saw as his enemies, Arthas was still haunted by the ghost of Kel'Thuzad. The ghost told Arthas that he needed to be revived for the next phase of the Lich King's plan. To revive him, Arthas needed to bring Kel'Thuzad's remains to the mystical Sunwell, hidden within the high elves' eternal kingdom of Quel'Thalas.

Arthas and his Scourge invaded Quel'Thalas and laid siege to the elves' crumbling defenses. Sylvanas Windrunner, the Ranger-General of Silvermoon, put up a valiant fight, but Arthas eventually eradicated the high elf army and battled through to the Sunwell. In a cruel gesture of his dominance, he even raised Sylvanas' defeated body as a banshee, cursed to endless undeath in the service of Quel'Thalas' conqueror.

Ultimately, Arthas submerged Kel'Thuzad's remains within the holy waters of the Sunwell. Although the potent waters of Eternity were fouled by this act, Kel'Thuzad was reborn as a sorcerous lich. Resurrected as a far more powerful being, Kel'Thuzad explained the next phase of the Lich King's plan. By the time Arthas and his army of the dead turned southward, not one living elf remained in Quel'Thalas. The glorious homeland of the high elves, which had stood for more than nine thousand years, was no more.

Hope this helps a bit. Good luck to all of you guys ganking on sunwell now. Much more Alliance than Horde there at my last observation, so watch for ally. And also, the humanoids and such there get pulled by like 9 at a time, so be prepared.

Keep all the Sunfury Signets you find, they are on the humanoids there.

Oh i forgot:

I saw a level 67 lowest i saw, so if I venture a guess it's probably ~66-71 most likely. They are pretty easy to take down, but when they gang on you, doesn't turn out too well unless you have like full epic gear. again good luck!

Good advice. Though I am only level 51 I want to see the island for myself. I am a blood elf and just want to see this. So where is the sunwell? Outland,eastern kingdoms, or kalimdor? Or even plain azeroth cuz im dieing to know this

it's in eastern kingdoms go to silvermoon city's flight path and fly to sunwell isle :)
