3006k HP on 10-man normal mode. Seal Armor Breach's cast is 21 seconds, however the tendons are non-targettable until 3 seconds thereafter, leaving 18 seconds to kill them. Thus, you need 24.56k DPS per raider, assuming a 0.5 second delay due to latency and targeting, 1/3/6 raid comp, and that the tank and all the healers add up to 0.8 damage dealers. This is slightly higher than Ultraxion, but has the advantage of being burst DPS required, and thus trinkets and cooldowns can and should be timed for this burn phase.

These buggers originally had 12.7M health on 10-player heroic difficulty and are attackable for about 20 seconds (give or take due to server lag). Minimum burst (raid) DPS required to kill the tendons in two exposures is therefore 317k/sec. Note that usually tanks and healers can easily help DPS the first two tendons, but it gets harder as the fight goes on and very difficult during the last two tendons. Hero is best saved for the 2nd last tendon in order to get it as low as possible (below 40% is ideal) so the final tendon can be killed off fast when everything goes to chaos.

After the 20% Tendon nerf, they now have 10.2M base health on 10-player heroic difficulty (burst DPS required is 254k/sec). Their actual health is this base health multiplied by the reduction from Power of the Aspects, so in reality their health is quite a bit less than 10.2M. Correspondingly, the burst DPS required is reduced by the same proportions.

Hope this info is useful for anyone trying to optimize DPS for these.

You can't target them with a macro like that - I have no idea why.
What you *can* do is /tar boss2 which works great.

Here's mine:

/cast Arcane Power
/use Bottled Wishes
/cast Presence of Mind
/use Mana Gem
/tar boss2
/cast Arcane Blast
/cast Arcane Blast

Works like a charm. Even after the nerfs, this fight on hc is still a pain :P We had the last tendon down to under a million last night but 7/10 wasn't enough to finish it off -.-

The issue with targeting macros is that there are two tendons, left and right, both with the same name. Depending on where you are standing, it might try to target the one that is not exposed.

I have found that if the plate is popped at the right, and you are standing on the right-hand half of Deathwing, it always works. However, if the left is popped then it seems that sometimes even standing on the left isn't good enough (haven't experimented more precisely than this).

The various targeting options are all equivalent (/tar Boss2, /tar Burning Tendons, etc). Another option is to /assist off a melee player who's fast at targeting.

@Jaromar: I started having issues with my macro which tried to target by name, I switched to the following and I haven't had any issues since;

#showtooltip Pillar of Frost
/cleartarget
/tar boss2
/use Rotting Skull
/cast Pillar of Frost
/cast Outbreak

Obviously replace the abilities/trinkets with your own and mash the macro as the Tendons spawn.
