I solo'd it as a prot warrior in mostly Naxx10 gear with some 25 man pieces hardest out of the 3. Keeping your distance from the spawns, using shield block/disarm, keeping thunderclap and demo shout should end up in a kill. Ruined my first attempt by using enraged regeneration too early and pulling the two non-elites. You can also use the time he uses casting to get some distance on him and the zombies and bandage if needed.

18/0/53 DK with imp Rune Tap. Soloed in quest and easy rep tank gear, glyphed for DS, quite easy. Move away from DnD and adds, popping bone shield and IBF every CD, rune tap if needed. Death strike him to death.

Easily soloed as a Mage in my Frostfire raid spec, just kite him around and bandage/evocation/whatever when he pops zombie horde.

Soloed all 3 of these as a prot pally in naxx gear. had to use lay on the unholy guy but overall pretty easy if you can block for 1000+. On the unholy guy his adds move very slow so just kite him around. The old ones despawn when he summons more, so you can just go up and down the area he's in.

Ya know, I have 3 different classes that I've tried to solo these guys on, all in quest blues/greens and I never even got close to killing 'em.

I really question the point of saying "I'm in full phat raid gear yo and I had no sweat beating these dudes like red-headed step-children." Duh? It should be obvious that if you're basically the one-man equivalent of two green-geared people, you must really suck NOT to be able to solo these.

Soloable for any DK, did it with Tanking Specc (Frosttank)

Summon your Ghoul and your Army before the Fight starts, hit him hard.

When he summons his annyoing zombies, go away from him and kite him around in circles, the zombies are too slow to follow you, even if you walk backwards and will die automatically after 30-45 seconds.

Hit him with Icy Touch and Deathcoil until he goes down.

DO NOT LET THE ZOMBIS TOUCH YOU! They will explode for a fair amount of damage and knock you back, in most cases that means you fall into another zombies waiting arms :D

P.S. Gear was epic Naxx stuff at that time, but the fight is definitely not gear dependent.

Soloed him as unholy DK in blue gear. Used Army of the Dead first, which made the fight a breeze as i could Scourge Strike him all i wanted until all my ghouls were dead. Got killed by one of his zombies afterwards though. Run out of his Death and Decay and keep away from/kill his zombies and it should be soloable by anyone.

Soloed as a Blood DK with Savage Saronite set. Just avoid the zombies. Go for as much damage at the start of the battle as you can.

Soloable as enhance shammy, the army of the dead he uses is actually useful. As he uses it, you're basically getting free time to attack, the zombies take a few secs to attack and are amazingly slow.

I found it possible to kite not only the zombies, but him as well. If you clear the place properly, it's possible to outrun him for a while, and possibly get some CD's usable again (Shamanistic Rage with 2 mins for example). He only slows himself down with his skills.

I'm at 8k armor because I don't have a shield (enhance), and he hit for about 1.6-2k, slow attack speed. Important things are to a) kite his zombies and b) avoid his Death and Decay.

Soloed as an 80 BM Hunter with some very creative kiting. Killed his two guards up front and his horse befor I started. He's immune to stuns and slows, which is very inconvenient when you're kiting, but I got him eventually.

Also, his horse will not aggro unless you attack it. Even though it is shown as hostile, it works exactly like a neutral mob.

For those of you out there who are wondering how on Earth are you going to down this guy... fear not! We did this with a group of two, a well geared holy priest and a poorly geared hunter. Start off by killing the two Death Knight Adepts at the front, then kill the horse, this ensures you don't get aggro when you're working on Rokir. Start off DPSing as much as possible to give the aggro to the priest, when the priest has aggro kite him around his enclosure. Keep dots up on Rokir and a bubble and hot up on the priest. When he starts summoning adds, have the hunter take care of them, make sure to keep a bubble and hot on the hunter when this happens. Continue until dead.

Baelok: Very easy,when he does his rune wep,just ignore it and once it dies (it will after a small amound of time) Corpse Explode it.

Sapph: A joke.No need to move,so CoI doesnt do anything,and never used HC on me,but her damage is so low,even if it hits you,you can survive for a while w/o DS.

Rokir: Now this guy is the real deal.Keep moving from his D%D and his zombies(they do a knockback and a 1k per tick AoE.Also watch out if you didnt kill the 2 dks close to were he is:2 normal mobs may not look like much,but if you have 4 DoTs,20 zombies AND Rokir hitting on you,they can make the difference between kill and being pwned.The only one of them that got me below 80%(we died at the same time,but luckily got credit for it)
They drop around 1g 15 s each.

Probably he is soloable to all classes who can kite. He doesnt run very fast, so you can outrun him for most of the time. And as stated above, his own abilities only slows him down.

I managed to solo this guy as a 80 Demo lock with some HC Instance/ToC normal items. I got him on my 3rd try.

* Keep Shadow Ward up to mitigate the damage from his D&D.
* Demonic Circle is key here, exceptionally useful from getting away from the adds. In all 3 attempts I never got hit by a zombie.
* Keep your pet alive with Health Funnel. This guy hits for a decent amount, so I'm pretty sure that improved Health Funnel would be helpful here. Your pet dies, you die, simple as that.
*Try to stick to your instant cast spells. You gonna have to move around abit in this fight. You could try throwing the occasional non-instant spell, but I'd rather stick to keeping my pet alive :).
*Keep a Healthstone at the ready, you may need it! May want to stick a Spellstone on for the 1% to DoTs as well.

And that was pretty much it for me. DoTs and Health Funnel while running away from the zombies, not to difficult :)

(I personally chose the Felguard over VW, simply because there is little difference in the damage he deals to either of these pets, and to be quite honest your better of trying to take this guy down in as short a time as possible (which is why I chose Felguard for his dps, which for me is about 600dps). VW would normally have an advantage in these situations due to his AoE taunt, but the zombies don't last long enough and the cooldown is to long to be of any real effect. His Demonic Empowerment buff might look nice for this fight too, but honestly I really didn't notice any difference.)

I easily soloed him at first try as a lvl 80 Retri PvE Paladin with 15/16 epic, https://www.wowhead.com/cata/spell=48932, https://www.wowhead.com/cata/spell=31801, https://www.wowhead.com/cata/spell=54043 and https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=43141 .

First I killed https://www.wowhead.com/cata/npc=31225 before I started on Rokir himself.

I circled around the platform while dps-ing.
Instead of using https://www.wowhead.com/cata/spell=53488 only for https://www.wowhead.com/cata/spell=48801 I also healed myself with https://www.wowhead.com/cata/spell=48785 when needed.

Keep him moving and watch out for his https://www.wowhead.com/cata/spell=61099. They don't run very fast so shouldn't be a threat if you kite well.

Solo'ed him as 79 prot paladin in superior (blue) gear. Used Seal of Light and Judgement of Light, and kept kiting him in a circle. Had Divine Plea up the entire time, and didn't have to use LoH, Divine Shield, or Divine Protection. Just stay out of the Death and Decay, Cleanse yourself of the plague strike debuff he does, and when he summons undead move away and use that chance to bandage or Holy Light once.

He is the toughest of the 3 riders you have to kill in the 3 quests you get at once but still witht he right class he is soloable. Anyone who can heal or haw bandages and can take a moderate beating can do this alone. As a druid I waited until he would summon his pets to heal. Everytime he stopped to do so I repeated the action.

Just a note...STAY AWAY from his pets. Very deadly. They poison you and do a nasty knockback that sent me over the edge of the cliff my first try. So back peddle to stay out of their range. They have low health so a AoE range class should be able to mow them down as soon as they bunch up. He wasn't stunnable for me when probably means he isn't freezeable or snareable in any way. so this may be a rough caster fight.

As far as his dmg mit its high. Higher than the others. I was able to stand toe to toe with Saph and kill her without losing any health. This guy is not the same. A higher end tank class may not say the same but as a druid tank it's a diffrent story without parry block etc.
