just like cata haters who commit full their fabric into negative comment, i also have hone my mental fortitude to recite / meditate and regurgitate how awesome Cataclysm classic will be , Cata sweet spot / MoP era
Feb 29th - *HC 2.0 launches and draws in thousands of players!*March 1st - *Cataclysm beta launches with first round of testers!*March 2nd *HC 2.0 dies*Will be hilarious to see HC fail miserably. Nothing like spending endless hours only to have Ebonroc burn it to dust
Vanilla, TBC, and WotLK were well-received because many players from private servers were eager to experience these expansions on the official platform. Cataclysm, however, has never gained much popularity on private servers, making the decision to re-release it questionable. It marks the point at which WoW began to lose its appeal, and it's puzzling why Blizzard would choose to revisit this expansion. With SoD available, we have the opportunity to re-experience the game from Vanilla through TBC to WotLK. We could also play on newly launched pure WotLK servers. There are numerous better options available, making the move towards Cataclysm seem like the least appealing choice.
because u dont have a proper job and are less able to sell accounts effectively that is why you can make such an educated/ well thoughtout post AGAINST cataclysm , lol
Cata will actually feel pretty nice for people who loved raidlogging in Wrath, although it won't last very long since the raid tiers are very small.Besides that however, Cata will feel like a very small expansion (probably the least content of any expac alongside WoD) unless you love leveling many alts 1-60.
I completely understand that cata isn't for everyone but I'm quite curious why so many of you want WotLK to stay active, what are you doing?Still questing? Still doing dungeons? Leveling new toons? Or are you stuck in Dala waiting for the next raid or gamma, then quit to play something else? What is classic really? Is it vanilla WoW, Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King or simply a reboot of WoW continuing through expansions as long as there are players?I personally cant wait for Cataclysm, if they do MoP as well, that'll most likely be my last classic expansion. When I went to university I stopped playing, so I never got to play Cataclysm and I don't mind the changes to the world or the quest.I'll be leveling new toons. When I look at WotLK I feel like I've been there and done that! And the world seems dead as well, at least the server I'm on.It seems likely that Blizzard could do something like SoD for BC and later maybe Wrath.Mix it up, make it different. The same content over and over again gets borring over time. They're keeping Classic Era alive and I personally think that's the right one to keep alive.Neither BC or WotLK has what it takes to stay active as their own eras.
