Atk power can be traded for crit or haste in my opinion, but it's a nice rogue main hand too
Best of all, it's non unique so you can DW it :D

Most likely drops from Trials of the Champion, the new 5man, being ilevel 200 probably from normal mode.
Note the unusual dps of 156.7dps on this weapon just like Angry Dread, which is unlike this one a ilevel 213 weapon.

The item has been updated on the mmo-champion ptr itemdb, it states now to be of 219 ilevel (while their loot list on teh page still states it to be 213, either they changed all the items to 219 on the dungeon, or they treat them like Ulduar 25 items, where normal mode weapons have a higher ilevel than normal mode equipment).
As 213/219 ilevel item it is of course from the heroic mode, not normal.

It seems like the Items in the Heroic Trial of Champion Instance are indeed all not 213 but rather 219, I have yet to see a 213 Ilevel in there.
But even though being a 219 ilevel item, the DPS is still 156.7.

This got hotfixed to have slightly higher stats, it now has 46 Agi, 30 Sta, 31 ArPen, 13 hit and 73 AP. It is also ilvl 219 now.

It's actually supposed to be ilvl 219. The DPS (and armor) of a lot of the Heroic Trial of the Champion loot is messed up (still at ilvl 213 values) Hotfixed tonight to 219 levels apparently.

* The weapon damage and armor of items dropped in the 5-man Coliseum Heroic version have been updated to match their item level.

From experience, the DPS and armor values on the items will for now state their 213 values, while they actually have the 219 value, the tooltip usually needs a seperate change that requires the server to be restarted.

The mace is a welcome addition to the scant few slow 1h maces in WotLK. There was a huge gap in the itemization between Angry Dread and the Thorim drop.

wonderful stats for an enhancement shaman. compliments angry dread or calamity's grasp very nicely, and the yellow socket is a great addition. im glad blizz decided to add this mace since there was a large gap between the naxx 25 weapons and the ulduar hardmode weapons...

This mace has just dropped for me from Eadric the Pure in H - ToC and it is beautiful! Luckily no one else in the group needed it! Looks like this mace is shared loot drop as the person 2 comments above me had it drop from the Black Knight.

Im framing ToC HC for this mace for my rogue and so far it never droped, however, my brother's DK got 2 in the first 2 runs (!). If i cant get a fast off hand mace should i go for a slow one or its better to use a faster dagger or sword?

Definitely farming for this since my DK is specced DW frost. The stats and speed not only make this a good 219 item lvl weapon for DW DK's, but the socket allows you to get 20 str on a 1 hander. Since all 1 handers except tanking weapons lack str this weapon is awesome.

I find it intresting though that the weapon damage is only equal to a 213 lvl item.

Currently I'm using Razorscale Talon MH / Silent Crusader OH

For a combat mace specced Rogue, would make a nice MH counterpart for the OH Maexxna's Femur.

I've been looking for a slow MH mace outside of PVPing, and this fits the bill perfectly. It even has +hit on it.

Actually, TOT builds rely quite a lot on obliterate spam. Between white damage and oblits, about half my damage ends up being physical. Its not quite like blood, but ARP still is pretty nice for frost. This is pretty much the best damn thing I can get apart from the yogg 1-handers (as a dwarf certainly)

The Weapon damage is equal to other 219 items, even if it is not according to your tooltip.
Your item cache probably still has the old data.

See Solos2 comment on the first page for a fix:

For those of you who're still seeing the old ilvl 213 stats, exit WoW, delete your cache folder files, and relogin. That'll fix it.

Delete all the files in here:
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Cache\WDB\enUS

The next time you login, your client will lag for a brief moment as it caches all the item stats again, but once it's done, you'll be able to see the new stats.

Just realized it still shows up with a dps of 156.7, use the link function to see it in-game, it should show the right dps value there.

This is a very good OH for enh shaman. It isn't the best for it's ilvl (ArP is pretty much wasted on enh shaman), but given the relative ease of getting it and the rarity of slow OH weapons it is very good. An enh shaman should have as much right to this weapon as anyone else even with ArP being a subpar stat.

According to Shadowpanther, this is currently the 11th best 1h melee mace in the game, and you can obtain it if you get lucky on a drop from a very easy heroic 5-man dungeon.

Makes me wish they added a melee dagger to Heroic ToC, too. ;|

Are you kidding me, ArP is our most weighted stat once you are hit capped.

If you're stacking ArP as an Enhancement Shaman, you're killing your DPS and making the spec look bad.

What you want is AP, Crit and Haste. AP is for obvious reasons. Crit because it affects melee AND spell, and because if you're properly talented, your spell crits will proc an additional 9% melee crit. And Haste because the more Maelstrom five-stacks we get, the more Lightning Bolts and Chain Lightning we can throw around.

The top-tier Enhancement Shamans in WotLK are the ones who realize they play a spec that has become a true melee/caster hybrid. Viewing Enhancement as a melee DPS is an outdated mode of thinking that was correct in TBC, but hazardous to your DPS in WotLK.

I can't wait to get two of these to dw for my frost dk! :D I'm currently using two Grimhorn Crushers and these are a pretty big upgrade.

I like the fact that they have Ap, hit and Apen which are pretty nice stats for a dk although as a frost dk apen is slightly less useful than for say, a Blood 2hand dk, because Frost Strike, Howling Blast, and your Diseases deal damage based on either unholy or frost damage. It DOES however make your basic melee and Obliterate as well as Blood Strikes hit harder and these are a large part of you abilities.

For anyone without these or Naxx/Uld gear I highly recommend getting Grimhorn Crushers as they are slow and have good stats for a dw frost dk.

I've been running H ToC for about two weeks now, Eadric the Pure almost everytime, and I've never even seen this drop. I'm an enhance shammy btw.

This is very good mace in general. Considering difficulty to obtain it and stats this is a must for anyone who uses maces, hit lvl 80 and wants to start raiding. Seriously this is a huge dps upgrade. It has stats any class will find use of so what to complain about ? I'd be really happy to DW these 2 no matter if i was DW DK or enh shaman.
Just appreciate you can have good gear without any effort.

Never complain about armor penetration, NEVER. Hehe, penetration... Anyway I found this weapon sufficable (even a word?) for a frost/ unholy DK tank, but for a DK like me it's only a conselation prize for not getting theEdge of Ruin.

Been trying to decide if this mace would be better for OH as Enh shammy over Tankard o' Terror(would link, dont know how =/) you would lose 8.3 dps, 27 haste and 29 crit, but not sure if hit rating+yellow socket for more hit(since im not hit capped) would make up for the losses. any insight would be welcome.

For Frost DKs looking to use the slowest possible weapons to not cripple their threat output, the stamina and gem slot on this weapon still gives the highest effective health from possible 5-man drops. It yields a possible 60 (or 81 with a Solid Dragon's Eye) stamina. The hit rating, although small, may also be useful to Frost tanks gearing up.

Other 2.6 speed alternatives from the new 5-mans that may be also be good for Frost tanks are:

Ghoulslicer (expertise)

Nighttime (highest agility)

Black Icicle (hit, most AP)

This is one of my personal favorites and on the server that I play on not to many people have it. I have been using this mace for about two months with my tank and I have to say that it is a great mace compared to the Titan Steel Bonecrusher but is lacking in stam and attack power leave much to be desired. The armor pen is nice but like the rest of the stats simply just not enough especially attack power but threw in a 20 attack power + 10 haste orange gem to help out along with a 65 attack power enchant. Over all I am on the hunt for upgrades as I always am but got treated nicely to some new armor that got me to 28608. Also have have over 28k health which helps when tanking in Toc.
