One bonus over the old Cogspinner design: There's versions for each armor type... so clothies aren't left out of the dust, and Plate wearers don't sacrifice their Armor rating.

One major con though, it's BIND ON PICKUP! This unfortunately means that we can't trade amongst other engineers who might find the random enchantmen you made useful to them.

Just made four of these and here were the results:
2x Mechanized Snow Goggles of Spell Power
+118 Spell Power

2x Mechanized Snow Goggles of the Hunt
+146 Attack Power
+41 Agility
+32 Intellect

All four disenchanted to Dream Shard

I'm seriously considering slapping a spynocular on my belt and using the bandit version of these goggles instead of my surestrike 2.0's for my hunter. Anyone got any thoughts on the wisdom of that? With the gems I have here is the comparison:

Mech/Surestrike:

for the 69 twink enhance shaman out there, i did some comparisons between Mechanized Snow Goggles of the Bandit and Surestrike Goggles v2.0. Assuming you socket the helm with Persistent Earthsiege Diamond and a Sovereign Dreadstone (i used the epic one cuz i plan to get one when they become available), the end results are:

106 ap - - - - 168 ap
20 frost - - - - 0 frost
0 hit - - - - - - 13 hit
0 crit - - - - - - 38 crit

personally, im choosing the Surestrike Goggles v2.0, but you can decide. hope it helps.

A few things to note about these goggles, for my shaman, atleast, and probably for hunter, these are, if you're like me and love the tinkerings, better than the surestrikes IMHO.

...of the Hunt (13.5% chance)
+146 Attack Power, +41 Agility, +32 Intellect

The one thing that annoyed me most about Surestrikes 2.0 were that they already had a USE effect, meaning that I couldn't attach Mind Amplification Dish to them, which is, again IMHO, a huge loss to any selfrespecting engineer.
And for both hunter and shaman, we have Farsight and Eagle Eye anyways. Not that it's even an ability I guess people use that often.

Now, consider this, As Enchancement shaman, I get 100% intellect-> Attack power with the right talents. So this suffix, "of the hunt", gives me total 178 attack power, not counting the agility. Now also consider that the Mind amplification dish gives a passive 45 stamina. bringing this whole helmet and "of the hunt" suffix to a whole new level in awesomeness.

But yet again, that's just all IMHO.

I couldnt make em yet at lvl 70 so i can just give stats for 71 although it wont be much diffrence.
As a Marksman hunter specced with
I used the ratingbuster addon to show the effect.

In 3.2, crafted blues with random enchantments got buffed. The stats on these goggles seem to have been increased by ~24-25% from what is listed above.
