Master Smith Burninate at Thorium Point sells coal for 5s each unlimited supply, just go to the last page of items. This is the same npc that you turn the mats in to for thorium rep.

Also drop off the Fire Elementals in Un'Goro. These elementals are all around Fire Plume Ridge. Coords 55, 44. Got about 1 every 5 kills.

I've fished them up from *water* in the Blasted Lands. There's a small lake near the Sunveil Excursion that's giving me nothing but coal and Old Skulls. It's... disturbing.

Coal drops on the mobs in Charred Vale(Stonetalon Mt.). I'm sure there are more zones it drops in. I'll let you do the leg work on those. :)

You guys are retards you can buy coal in Oggrimar at the black smith supplier for 4 sliver and 50 copper and its unlimited. The vendors name is Sumi. Just find the artisian Black smith and she is right there next to him.

Believe it or not, you can also fish coal out of the volcanic pools at Fire Plume Ridge in Un'Goro Crater. Recommend fishing skill above 270.

It doesn't mention it here, but coal is sold by Master Smith Burninate at Thorium Point in Searing Gorge for 5 silver. Useful if your turning in the Restoring Fiery Flux Supplies quests to him to raise your reputation with Thorium Brotherhood.

go to the Charred Vale, right before Desolace. Kill everything there. The walking tree Ancients, the bird things, the elementals. They all drop it. Not sure about the basilisk or the other stuff.
