If you don't have enough time this year to gather 552 tokens to complete all the Brewfest achievements for the title you can do the following:

The items are refundable at the original vendor for 2 hours.

So get yourself 350 Brewfest Price Tokens and buy a Brewfest clothing set for the Disturbing the Peace achievement.
Then return the pieces of clothing to the original vendor and buy "Brew of the Month" Club Membership Form for the Brew of the Month achievement.

Can anyone clarify when exactly the achievement is rewarded?
Is it when you buy the "Brew of the Month" Club Membership Form, or when you actually activate it?

I ask because I like spamming my guild with as many of these holiday achievements in a row as possible. The reactions they give are quite funny =)

For anyone wondering if you have to get the membership again this year if you already had it.

The answer is Yes if you had the membership last year, you must buy it again this year to continue getting the BOTM drinks.

I had just gone to the BOTM vendor having had it last year and she states that the brews are exclusive to members of "BOTM Club". Thus I am no longer a member

Hi Aulgelmir,

We've passed your issue off for further investigation. You should not need to join the Brew Club again, as we'll be able to get your Achievement restored, unless there are unforeseen issues uncovered in the investigation. We will likely not be able to contact you for several days about this as there is a long queue at present, so you will need to be patient and you won't need to make any tickets as Game Masters will likely advise you to be patient and await a response.

Apologies for any delay and thanks for your report.

This IS actually an annual membership and you will need to renew it each year as you would a normal membership. This is according to two seperate US GMs that I spoke to. They both said that a player needs to only get the subscription once for the achievements Brew of the Month and Brewmaster, but otherwise you need to renew it each Brewfest to receive more brews each month. This is directly from Vrakthris, a US Blizzard Poster:

The pet and the clothing are actual items that do not change or adjust depending on the month, Draklor.

Haven't you ever heard of X of the month clubs before? It is usually a year membership and you get a specific amount of a different something each month.

It has been a year, your membership is over and you have to renew. If you would like to see multi-year memberships be made available you'll want to post in the Suggestion forum.

I am really disappointed to find out TODAY, on the last day of this event, that I could have simply refunded the Brewfest clothing to get 350 tokens back in order to spend them on the BotM membership ... and then had an extra 150 leftover to purchase the Pint-Sized Pink Pachyderm. That really sucks. I got started on this event late this year (a week into it) for various reasons, and realized that I simply didn't have enough time to accumulate 650 tokens (needed for the achievements and the pet; I'm a pet collector so getting the pet is important to me). So I went ahead and bought the pet already ... /cry

That is a lesson in holding onto your "tokens" - or whatever currency is being used, given the event - and just accumulating the max amount you can and then spend at the END of the event. Just in case you run across information like this, at the end of the event. :P

Question

I was told in order to get the brews I missed LAST year I'd need to buy a new brew club thing... so I did. But it wouldn't let me turn in the quest guy mentioned in the quest log, so I quickly sold it back to get my tokens. Can anyone confirm or deny that I need to get the brew of month AGAIN to get the missing brews?

I'd like to know too! I bought the membership last year, then cancelled my account a couple of months later. I recently started playing again but missed out on 9 of the monthly beers. I don't know if I need to buy another membership or not!

To obtain this achievement, you must buy the membership card for 200 Brewfest tokens. After the normal quests, you should have 100+ or so. There is a quest from an item dropped by Direbrew that rewards you with 40 tokens. A trick, though. The Daily quests, one of the yelling ones from ram-back and the Dark Iron one reward you, when put together, with 25 tokens. 4 days will get you 100. 8 will get you 200. Include in the unofficial daily quest in which you deliver kegs, and it should take you 25 rides back and forth to make 50. So, in theory, you should be able to get this within 2 days of the opening of Brewfest. That is, if you are one hell of a ram racer!

Brewfest starts now. I am determined to get Brewmaster on my priest this year.

I am so glad they removed Disturbing the Peace from the criteria.

I would say this achievement WILL be hardest.

3 Downrates. All of it is true, all of this information.

Brewfest started that day, I am 1 achievement off Brewmaster.

I am glad I don't need to buy a load of gear and dance in Dalaran.

I have only this achievement to go.

The trick for refunding the clothing to get your tokens back does not work in WotLK Classic. If you are going for the meta achievement, don't waste your coins.
