Each NPC will offer you different conversation options, all of them relevant to the some aspect of the invasion or your current quest.

Anthorn Windsong - "What more can you tell me about these fire hawks?" will give you a little bit of lore about the creatures of flame.
Deldren Ravenhelm -
Dorda'en Nightweaver - "How is Hamuul doing?" will prompt Dorda'en to give you a prognosis regarding the archdruid's condition.
General Taldris Moonfall - "What can you tell me about the Sentinel Tree, General?" will make Taldris explain how she doesn't know how a tree is going to save you, but it sure as hell annoys the fire elementals, so life's good.
Jarod Shadowsong - "Commander Shadowsong, what are the Marks of the World Tree?" will prompt Jarod to explain to you how the new currency will work.
Malfurion Stormrage - "How are we doing in the battle?" will give you a short summary of how much you have done for the Invasion.
Matoclaw - "Tell me about the ancient, Malorne" will send Matoclaw into a loregasm as she tells you about Malorne's history.
Thisalee Crow - "How do I get out of here?" will tell you how to leave the Molten Flow once you've fallen down there. She also mentions those thermals you find all over the Molten Flow and Fireplume Peak.

Here's a list of all the NPCs, where you can find them, and the stages they require:

Arthorn Windsong - . Can be found in the Furnace.
Deldren Ravenelm - . Can be found in the Forlorn Spire.
Dorda'en Nightweaver - . Can be found in the Sanctuary of Malorne, also at the Forlorn Spire
General Taldris Moonfall - . Can be found in Malfurion's Breach.
Commander Jarod Shadowsong - . Can be found in Malfurion's Breach.
Malfurion Stormrage - . Can be found in Malfurion's Breach.
Matoclaw - . Can be found in the Sanctuary of Malorne
Thisalee Crow - . Can be found in the Molten Flow.

Duing Phase 1 I don't see Dorda'den Nightweaver. I was able to Get Maltoclaw.

I panicked slightly for a minute there, but after a little more research from the information provided above and the Firelands Wowhead Guide, I've been able to figure which stages they fall in. (I'm not sure on the correct order yet since I haven't actually completed it, but these should be the stages they fall under. Thank you Joejr82 for the location of the npc's. I included your input from above.)

Stage 1:
Matoclaw - The Sanctuary Must Not Fall Can be found in the Sanctuary of Malorne.

Stage 2:
Dorda'en Nightweaver - You can talk to him either before or after completing The Fate of Runetotem. He can be found in the Sanctuary of Malorne. Cannot be accessed in later stages!
General Taldris Moonfall - Through the Gates of Hell Can be found in Malfurion's Breach.
Commander Jarod Shadowsong - Through the Gates of Hell Can be found in Malfurion's Breach.
Malfurion Stormrage - Through the Gates of Hell Can be found in Malfurion's Breach. When I first reached Malfurion's Breach, I was unable to access any dialogue for Malfurion. He was outside the cave. I left the Firelands area, but when I went back through the portal, he was inside the cave and I was able to talk to him and get credit.

Druids of the Talon:
Thisalee Crow - Druids of the Talon Can be found in the Molten Flow.
Arthorn Windsong - Druids of the Talon Can be found in the Furnace.

The Shadow Wardens:
Deldren Ravenelm - The Shadow Wardens Can be found in the Forlorn Spire.

Is anyone else not able to see Jarod Shadowsong? I had my entire group able to talk with him and get credit for that part of the achievement.

I finished that quest line and the one for the Hyjal zones mentioned above. Any other thoughts?

I was able to see Commander Jarod Shadowsong after I completed some quests in Hyjal up to The Firelord (had it in my quest log but didn't complete it).

Commander Jarod Shadowsong does indeed move around. He stops at 49,85 in the Molten Front in Phase 2 but then he proceeds to also run around with the troops and go into the cave as well. My advice is to check those spots and use a macro if necessary.

Dorda'en is the druid taking care of Hamuul Runetotem, and there's a daily quest to get bandages for him, so here's there for talking to.

After being unable to get Jarod, I too completed al of Hyjal and he was then available for me to talk to in the cave at Molten Front.

Jarod Shadowsong is actually walking around inside the portal to the molten front. If you watch the chat you will see him make a comment, then he walks from the path where the fighting starts to the cave entrance where Malfurion is standing. No need to wait for another quest chain to get him....hope this helps!

For those of you that cannot see Jarod Shadowsong, you need to have done the quest line to release him in hyjal. If you only stayed to get the achievement, go back to The Forge of Supplication and you'll only need to do about 3-4 easy quests. Once he's free meet him at the Gates of Sothann. After that he'll be visible in firelands :)

Seems like Deldren Ravenelm is not available if you first took Druids of the talon and after that Shadow wardens.

I have completed the Druids of the Talon quest and still can't see Arthorn Windsong =/
I've tried relogging, that didn't work. Other's can see her right where I'm standing and are getting the achieve. Any other Quests that need to be done?

If you've already completed/turned in Druids of the Talon and started on Shadow Wardens and you didn't talk to Thisalee Crow prior to starting Shadow Wardens can you no longer see Thisalee Crow? I'm not able to get to the Molten Flow!

Was also having trouble finding Jarod. After reading comments here, I went to look if I still had some quests undone, and I did. Even though I've got the "Coming Down the Mountain" achievement. I know I've done this quest chain before, since I always do all quests I find. However, it might be from changing from Horde to Alliance, changing races etc, that some quests have reset, I dunno.

Anyways, I went to "The Forge of Supplication" and found some quests that got me started on the whole last chain. I did all quests I could get, even after I've saved Jarod and Cenarius appears. After that, I went to Molten Front, and oh yes, the bastard finally appeared to me! :)

So if you do have this problem, and think alike like me, that you've done all quests in Hyjal, have a look and see if there is some undone and do 'em.

Thanks for all the other comments leading for my success, amazingly frustrating just having 1 NPC away from an achievement.

There are four potentially 'missing' NPCs for this quest.

A lot of people have already mentioned Jarod Shadowsong - basically, finish the level 80 Hyjal questlines and you'll find him right at the front. These quests are really fast at level 85, so no big deal.

Deldren Ravenhelm, Arthorn Windsong, and Thisalee Crow: These NPCs are only available if you have, in the same day, done the 'correct' dailies. For Deldren, it's the chain (that's the only quest required.)

For Arthorn and Thisalee, you have to do and various following quests. These NPCs only phase in when you're on the right stage of the dailies. So if you're wondering if you can't get them again - you can! Just not 'today' if you've already done the other side.

To see Jarod Shadowsong in the Firelands, I figured out that you MUST complete up to the summoning of Cenarius in Hyjal questing to see Jarod Shadowsong. If you don't complete it, then he's being held hostage by the Twilight Cult still.

Can someone be a little more specific on where Jarod Shadowsong is? I've been all over Malfurion's Breach looking for him, even spamming a /target macro, and I can't find him in there...

Can confirm that in order for all npc's to be available for you to talk to, you will need to have completed all Hyjal quests. For me, Jarod Shadowsong was not showing up. So today I decided to complete the remainder of Hyjal quests. And, voila, went through the portal and he was inside the cave and available for me to talk to.

Not being aware of this I opened a ticket with Blizzard and they came back, acknowledging there is indeed a problem related to this achievement:
Quoting that part of the support answer:

Depending on what part of the quest chain you are on, some NPCs may not be where they are noted on the map, or where they appear to other players. Some wander around, some appear near other questgivers. Our development team are aware of this issue and it will be corrected as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I then followed it up and during the chat with the GM he was more specific: Jarod Shadowsong is an important figure of the counterattack against Twilights hammer ( a part you can do AFTER you helped the ancients, which is required to open the Molten Front questline ). The developers had decided that all NPC's which had not been "seen" by the character before the Molten Front happens won't be there - that is the issue the above quote is about. It is causing Blizzard customer service a lot of grief, because many have skipped Hyjal or now just did the part up to helping the ancients.

So, despite the fact that you CAN enter Molten Front, and despite the fact that you SEE Jarod Shadowsong on the first time you do (and you can talk with him then, thus getting that part of the achievement) you will get the problem of him being invisible on second and consecutive days unless you finish the original Hyjal questline.

Additional information on Commander Jarod Shadowsong.

After searching the zone multiple times, at every point only turning in one quest at a time I submitted a GM ticket. I can now confirm you have to do more quests (then the 80 or so to unlock the dailies) in Mount Hyjal to see this NPC. Here was the GM Response...

You need to have completed the Mount Hyjal quest line up to, and including, Twilight Riot before Commander Jarod Shadowsong is visible in the Molten Front.

Verified the quest Twilight Riot is needed to unlock Jarod Shadowsong. Completed the chain up to this quest, went back to Malfurion's Breach and there he was.

Just discovered that you can talk to Jarod Shadowsong and get the achieve credit during the ritual where Malfurion is attempting to resurrect Malorne. Just saying. It works.

My experience with Jarod Shadowsong was that I still couldn't see him at Malfurion's Breach even after completing all the quests until I logged out of WoW and then back in.

Now i'm on stage 2 (opened druids of the talon and wardens)

Is any option to chat with Matoclaw for achivement (i take i daily quest everyday from her, but it won't give me sign "OK" in achivement list)

I somehow completed all the quests in Molten Front without talking to Deldren Ravenelm. Does he appear anywhere else after the Shadow Warden quest chain ends?

Since i don't see any update on the matter of Dorda'en Nightweaver i will write it down. He CAN be accessed during the stage 2 and after finishing Leyara quest. After finishing stage one and gaining access to Molten front I've collected 150MotWT and recruited Shadow wardens first instead of Druids of the Talon. Maybe that's the reason I could talk to him, I'm not really sure.

I have completed all of the Forlorn Spire chains and have since turned in 150 coins for the Druids and now on to 125 tokens for the Elders. I still CANNOT speak to Deldren Ravenelm. I see him over to the right as you enter the battle area. Big yellow shoulders but he's not an NPC l can interact. I have all of the others BUT him. Suggestions?

Ok if your as touched in the head as I am and dont have Matoclaw at the end, just talk to her in the stagging area and click on her conversation. Feeling pretty dumb but an easy miss.
