Now that Horde have the Venomhide Ravasaur, alliance can get a FOS for this time-consuming mount - pre-3.2, this would kind have been rubbing salt into the wound that Horde didn't have one ;)

I got this Feat of Strength today, oktober 6, patch 3.2.2 (10505), on a EU server.

I was suprised I got it, I thought it was available only before 3.2. Reason I got it might be that I started the rep grind 3 years ago?

Highly recomended, all 3 quests when you get them, even in grp. Grping is very good for killing the teddys(and spirit beads for timbermaw rep if you are'nt exalted) and giants(sometimes far apart). Meat not so much, but its a fast kill and lots of Rugged Leather.

10-20mins a lap with all 3 quests. Set HS to Everlook, if you are a Scribe, you have that Scroll of Recall aswell, and if you have the Dalaran ring, it's just sweet. Took 16h or less. Tons of Runecloth, alot of greens and meat, made close to 1K gold buy selling all to vendors, and AH(but thats just cuz my server is like that).

Tips on teddys:

Be in a grp(spread out), learn where the teddys spawn, kill all you see for quicker respawns, park pets at respawn points(on aggro), set traps on respawn points. Teddys are also up on the ridge above the village.

Tips on Giants:

Go right before the bridge, 2 giants, go down. You should have 4 of each now, and no need to go over the bridge. Avoid going near the edge of the cliff, easy to slip off.

If you are exalted with Timbermaw(the teddys), just pass on all loot so others can loot the beads(right click on your portrait for loot options), you can loot over 400 beads on these Q's I'd guess, I had over 250 at the end of the grind since I did some alone

3.3.5 and its still here...i hate this grind with a passion -_- though it was alot worse on my vanilla warrior back in the day

You must do about 140 renewable quests to obtain this mount and that mount cost 80g.

I was barely revered with the Wintersabers at the launch of 4.1. So, I started doing the quest string to raise my own wintersaber cub. After 11 out of 20 dailies to grow your cub, I dinged Exalted with them!

So I went to the Wintersaber Trainer on the rock, and he sold me the mount and I instantly dinged this achievement! I didn't realize this achievement existed. So I was excited...times 3! (Once for being exalted, once for still being able to buy the mount, once for getting a bonus achievement!).

I'm still doing the cub raising quest string because I'm curious how that will end when I already have the mount.

....will keep you posted. (I'm assuming I'll just get a 2nd one that will be unusable.)

By the way, if you have any old Wintersaber rep quests - you can still do them and turn them in. They're still honored. The guy just won't give you any more other than the cub raising string.

-UPDATE-
I completed the 20 quests. I turned in the 20 leather, 20 whiskers, and 20 cloth, I paid the 80g and completed the quest. I got the mount "already known" and a picture. I sold the mount back for 25g (as it was soulbound, of course).

In short: "I completed the quest, and all I got was this picture!" However, I must say, the picture is hella-cute! And worth the 55g. =)

Once doing the last quest for the frostsaber cub quest chain as of 4.1, obtaining this rewarded me the remaining reputation needed to gain fully exalted while getting me this awesome mount

I'm surprised this is still obtainable as a Feat of Strength despite the much easier way to get it now. I can't complain though, I wasn't able to get from Revered to Exalted without the help of the new daily quests.

I have a question. Does it matter for the achievement if you get the mount by reaching exalted or by finishing the 20 dailies?
