NOTE: Not all achievements available in Ulduar are in the meta achievement for Glory of the Ulduar raider which is completely different from the previous Glory of the Raider making it slightly easier. A lot less luck based (Gonna go when the volcano blows) and less reliant on roles (Denyin' the Scion),and a lot less frustrating (Immortal).

Remember that achievements are obvious time sinks, so expect this to take at least a good portion of the time learning how to perform the fight with these gimmicks and thus awarded with a proto-drake. I can't comment on the difficulty of this GotR compared to the old one, but because if you and your raid want the reward, you can get it in time and not get penalized for things like doing the raid with less people.

One thing is guaranteed though, if achievements were never implemented - running the same raid over and over again the same way for the new couple of months waiting for 3.2 might get boring.

Below is "my" version of doing these achievements, there are possibly more ways to do the achievement, as merely I am trying to give you an idea of how and what to expect.

Difficulty rating

Difficulty rating: : Orbit-uary -

Keeping any of the 4 Towers up during the gauntlet to FL starts hard-mode of the boss and changes the dynamics of the fight. Each tower (orbital defense) grants FL an extra ability your raid needs to deal with and 50% more life per tower
Leaving Tower of Storms up, blue pillars spawn randomly in the room and you will take damage if you run in them and more if you were directly under it.
Leaving Tower of Frost up, causes random ice tombs if you are near the impact of the ice, flame abilities can break it, otherwise you will be stunned for a minute.
Leaving Tower of Flames up, causes FL to spawn a pillar that leaves a patch of fire as it moves randomly in the room.
Leaving Tower of Nature up, causes FL to spawn adds from corners of the room and occasionally summon Nature guardians during the fight in the middle of him.
Your health is fixed, you will not be able to heal your vehicles.
Remember to repair your vehicles before you engage.
Because this is vehicle fight and the only variable is STAMINA (as stated by a blue(linkplease) the higher the ilvl your items equipped with, the more hp your tank will have) meaning no matter how good your other weapons are, your damage is relatively fixed. It should be noted, offhand/relic/shirt/tabard slots are not affected.
Therefore, even as gear levels improve, proper execution and knowing what each of your vehicles does is the single most important tool in completing this achievement, don't expect to this with blues or greens the difference between ilvl213 to ilvl226 for every slot can give you up to 200k more hp.

Difficulty rating: : Stokin' the Furnace -

Remember You Don't Have an Eternity?, same idea, the need to stack buffs, flasks etc. will make this achievement more easier then bringing randoms to complete it.
Otherwise, as your gear levels improve, this becomes easier and easier.
As for raid comp goes, 1 will need to tank Ignis, 1 for the constructs that spawn and others as you see fit, but those would be the absolute minimum because the off tank holding the constructs will need to "drag" them into water so they aren't "fire" enraged (think lava elementals in OS)
10 man harder then 25 man simply because of the raid buff stacking problem as you recall in You Don't Have an Eternity and the readily extra available OTsif the main - OT is Slag Pot'd - reminds you of Frost Blast from KT.

Difficulty rating: : I Choose You, Steelbreaker -

I hope you enjoyed Sartharion /w 3 drakes, because here it comes again in a new form but completely different in abilities and damage based on who you kill first and second. Remember in OS, you would kill Tenebron -> Shadron -> Vesperon and that the drakes don't get any buff from killing any of the drakes but Sartharion does. The catch here is you can choose to kill either Runemaster Molgeim or Stormcaller Brundir - there are achievements for leaving one of these two up last but this is considered the hardest of the 3.
Because this achievement is for leaving SB last, I will only explain what happens if you kill either Runemaster or Stormcaller first and ultimately what to expect and compare it to either leaving the other 2 last in terms of damage/raid awareness etc.
With all 3 of the dwarves up, SB himself has Fusion Punch and the High Voltage aura, also if he is hit with a Rune of Power by Molgeim, he hits for much harder.
If you choose to kill Molgeim first, you don't have to worry about SB getting runes, but you also don't get the buff associated from the rune if friendlies were to stand in it.
If you choose to kill Brundir first, you don't have to worry about interrupts on his Chain Lightning.
As soon as your raid kills one of the Iron Council members, SB will gain Static Disruption which is pretty much like a void zone + 75% increase in nature damage debuff except lasts longer. Leaving Brundir up with Steelbreaker means missing an interrupt on Brundir could be fatal and leaving Molgeim up with SB means Fusion Punches will hit for a crapton if the tank stands within a Static Disruption, up to this point this is pretty much avoidable but could gimp you if you aren't awake.
Next you have either Brundir OR Molgeim left to kill to qualify for the achievement, once the 2nd dwarf is killed, get ready to hold onto your hats!
SB gains 2 more abilities which is equivalent to an enrage timer. The first one is Overwhelming Power, which is similar to Burning Adrenaline from Vael for those that remember. I do not know the specifics when he casts this but as you can imagine it has to be regular intervals and you can not go on forever with members dying one by one. The second ability he gains is Electrical Charge for EVERY member that dies.
Now, this means at a certain point people will be dropping like flies faster then you can count by twos and tie your shoes. Along with his Lightning damage aura, Fusion Punch, Static Disruption - you will be in a world of hurt. You can not have more then 2 people to die during this time or it is impossible to bear once 2 dwarves are dead, he heals per raid death (20%). The raid damage taken is insane, as you can see once any of these inconvenience happens, it goes down hill.
Remember that killing any dwarf heals the others to full regardless if you are doing the achievement or not.
To condense the above into a few words - kill Brundir 1st and Molgeim 2nd and prepare for tank cooldowns and lots of raid damage.

Difficulty rating: : Getting Cold in Here -
This isn't as mindless as Keristrasza's version in Nexus, although equally as easy to get rid of. However, you will need everyone to not allow the stacks to accumulate or you will fail the achievement and that alone makes it hard
If anyone lags, you will probably fail, if anyone disconnects you will probably fail.
There are two ways for to get rid of the debuff. 1 - Simply move or 2 - Stand in a Toasty fire given by the Mage NPCs (they prevent biting cold from accumulating but disappear if snow or powerful frost magic hit them so be warned)
He has a 9-minute enrage timer, so factor in the time you have to dodge Flash Freeze and Icicles and casters requiring to stand to cast to complete this achievement.

This has been replaced by I Could Say That This Cache Was Rare.
Difficulty rating: : I Could Say That This Cache Was Rare-

Stormy Power can be granted to nearby allies and is critical for this achievement, whenever someone gets this debuff from the Shaman, they need to share this buff simply by running near allies to grant the buff. You have a window of approximately 5 seconds to share it and it lasts for 30 seconds.
The beams given by the Druid are also critical for this to be possible, everyone should stand in one as much and as often as possible.
Freeing these 2 npcs first after the Flash Freezes should be your priority, you have 3 minutes to free Hodir from Yogg-Saron.

Difficulty rating: : Knock, Knock, Knock on Wood -

Mortal strike type effects will help you deal with the bonus healing that Freya will be receiving from her adds.

Difficulty rating: : Crazy Cat Lady -

2 (4 on heroic) Sanctum sentries exist at the beginning of the fight.
The sentries' pounce deals approx 5.5 - 8.6k depending on normal and heroic mode, since this achievement is to keep them alive, you will need possible 1-2 offtanks to take care of the sentries.
The sentry does a stacking dot debuff that increases in damage taken from the Sentries' rip attack the longer they are tanked, the debuff lasts for 20 seconds and can tick for large amounts.
Use soulstones or blessing of protection/divine shield to remove the debuffs that can stack indefinitely.

Difficulty rating: : Lose Your Illusion -

During the Thorim fight, a group will need to go through the gauntlet and reach Thorim within 3 minutes of starting the fight. You have 5 minutes to reach him before he kills the raid, but you must reach him in 3 minutes to engage hard mode and this achievement.
Upon reaching him, Sif, the woman beside her will assist Thorim in the fight by shooting crap at you that you will have to deal with during the fight.
The abilities Sif have include, Frostbolt, Frost Nova, Blizzard and Frostbolt Volley. The damage is approx 8-16k for both abilities and can be resisted.
Because Thorim has a stacking buff on himself, you will need to kill him quickly before he starts to one-two shot your tank.
Ideally, 2 healer, 2 tank, 6 dps should be your group make up.

Difficulty rating: : Heartbreaker-

Every 25%, XT-002 exposes his heart that takes 100% extra damage, in order for this achievement to be accomplished, you will need to first kill his heart which is exposed for the first time @ 75%
Since there is an enrage timer along with a timer on how long the heart is exposed, a certain amount of dps is required from the raid in order to even access the hard mode.
If your group successful kills the heart, hard mode is engaged, XT-002 fully regains his hp and will have more base hp and damage and then it becomes a dps race.
Gravity bombs now spawn Void Zones when they explode and Light Bombs spawn a Life Spark (A mob) that must be killed or does aoe damage to the raid.

Difficulty rating: : Disarmed -

Kologarn has two arms, one that grabs raid members (1 on normal, up to 3 on heroic) and the other one does a shockwave.
He doesn't release your buddies until the arm sustains a portion of damage, (80k (10) - 380k (25) - (100k(10), 400k(25) until 3.1.2 is live) and will release your friends.
Killing one of the arms causes Kologarn to take 15% body damage.
Consistently kill his right arm until his life is about 35%, lower both him and his arms to a manageable level and kill.
You are allowed to kill the arms multiple times during the fight, but both of them need to have died within 10 seconds of his death for eligibility of this achievement, aka. HE MUST HAVE DIED WITH NO ARMS UP AND THE ARMS NEEDS TO HAVE DIED WITHIN 10 SECONDS OF EACH OTHER.
He does not have a hard mode, achievements for Kologarn are just mere options in how you can kill Kologarn

Difficulty rating: : Iron Dwarf, Medium Rare -

This achievement is more possible when Razorscale is grounded (<50%)
This achievement is cumulative and can be done in multiple attempts or multiple visits, the adds that spawn during the Razorscale encounter can be killed by her flame breath if you drag the adds in front of her where she can breathe on them.
Allow her to breath and kill 25 Guardians and the achievement is yours

Difficulty rating: : I Love the Smell of Saronite in the Morning-

General Vezax's fight involves 0 mana regeneration exclu. Enh. Shaman and Ret. Pal, to regenerate mana during the fight, you must stand in the green clouds that spawn after destroying a "Saronite Vapor" during the fight. Standing in these vapors exchanges hp for mana.
For this achievement, you must not destroy any of these Saronite Vapors and allow for Saronite Animus to spawn, like the adds beside General Vezax, this mob causes the host to be immune to all sources of damage. Saronite Animus also does a stacking shadow damage debuff and must be killed to resume to the fight normally.
This achievement needs your healers to be really mana-efficient, channeling large heals and cancelling them if they might overheal. Quickly dispatch the Animus when it spawns after the 8th vapor appears and resume the fight normally.

Difficulty rating: : One Light in the Darkness -
You have a maximum of 4 Keepers to utlize during the fight of Yogg-Saron, for the achievement you are allowed a maximum of 1 keeper. This would be considered a mid-point in terms of hard mode for the Yogg-Saron fight. Judging by the wording of the achievement, I believe you can even do it with 0 keepers up, although I think that would be freakin' mad.

I am currently researching myself how and what the boss fights are like.

Incorrect, the Ironbound Proto Drake is a reward from the 25 man raid achievements, while the Rusted Proto Drake is a reward from these 10 man achievements.

These will become availible with the 3.1 patch and Ulduar.

After going through Ulduar 10-man this week I'd like to comment on the difficulty of several of these achievements.

We were able to complete 4 of them, but see several more as being in the realm of "possible with practice."

Orbit-uary: One of the most difficult achievements for it requires a lot of practice moreso than gear. Basically, the completion of this actually hinges on how quickly you can kill FL, not so much how well you endure his additional abilities. We did it quite easily with 2 towers, but the remaining 2 are far more impactful on the encounter. Blue and Green are the 2 towers you need to learn effectively in order to complete the encounter, combined with needing a much higher ilvl of gear to allow your Demolishers to do more damage.

The more ammo you can provide the demolishers, the more damage they can roll into FL. You need to learn to kill him fast, not how to endure him.

Knock, Knock, Knock on Wood: This achievement, in the short term, seems impossible from our perspective. Freya gains the abilities of the tree mini-bosses you neglect to kill, as well as an inherent damage and health buff. We completed Knock on Wood, leaving 1 tree up, but feel that 3 will come down to practice and gear.

As far as we know, she gains the ability to Root, Sunbeam, and Thorns from the trees, but these abilities also affects the minions summoned which you need to kill to actually kill her, making them much harder to deal with in the limited timeframe you have to kill them.

I Love the Smell of Saronite in the Morning: Two things change drastically about this encounter.
1. You'll need 2 tanks
2. Your healers will be even more tapped for mana.

To force the Animus to spawn, you need to leave up 8 (assumed from PTR) Saronite vapor clouds, which all combine to form the beast. While he is active you will need to off-tank Vezax and kill him. The difficulty in this achievement comes from the 10-minute enrage timer on Vezax for it takes several minutes to spawn the Animus, a few to kill him, and the fact that your secondary tank (which is usually not necessary) will slow down your DPS greatly.

This fight is seemingly impossible to single-healer due to the mechanics, so this is not an option.

A Euro-guild completed this achievement on Heroic difficulty using a mechanic which is being removed from the encounter that effectively removed all raid damage and healing components.

One Light in the Darkness:
This will be the hardest achievement for a few reasons, all of which are the keepers secondary abilities. Assuming DPS will be high enough without the keepers buffs, you will need to contend with one of the following:
- The inability to regain Sanity (some insanity loss is completely unavoidable.)
- The inability to kill the adds during phase 3, although their health is correlated to their damage done.

Theoretically, the first option is the superior one for if you can complete phases 1 and 2 fast enough, all further sanity loss is completely avoidable. On the other hand, a rogue with Improved Throwing Weapons could interrupt all the adds life drains at once using Fan of knives. Ultimately, 0 keepers is intended to be possible, but unless mechanics are removed from the fight as you attempt with less keepers, it is seemingly impossible.

OK, Heres a nice list of what to do on each boss:

Flame Leviathan: (HARD MODE)
Engage of Flame Leviathan with all 4 orbital defence systems active. you do this by either talking to the Lore Keeper of Norgannon and keeping the 4 named towers alive, or talking to Brann and destroying the 4 towers. Keeping these towers alive dramatically increasers the bosses health and gives it 4 new, powerful skills.

Ignis the Furnace Master:
Kill him in four minutes. This is purely a DPS requirement, and quite a strict one when you also consider construct kiting, not casting on Flame Jets, etc.

Razorscale:
Kill 50 of the adds using the bosses Flame Breath, which she casts near the end of each landing and also during her ground phase. This is cumulative, so just a matter of time.

XT-002 Deconstructor: (HARD MODE)
Nuke the XT-002 down to 75%, then fully destroy the explosed heart. This will heal it to full, and grant it 40% additional health, 30% additional damage, and new spells.

Iron Council/Assembly of Iron: (HARD MODE)
Kill Steelbreaker last. This is the most difficult kill order, as Steelbreaker has a DPS requirement as he blows up raid members and gains damage on each death, as well as dealing serious melee damage.

Kologarn:
Kill both his arms within 10 seconds of each other. When this happens, you will have a large number of adds of you and the boss will start spamming damage to the whole raid, HOWEVER if the second arm death kills him you will NOT get the achievement. Thus, the best way is to kill both arms at 31%, then nuke down his last few health.

Auriaya:
This involves keeping her 4 adds alive. They gain increased damage as they group up, killing tanks in seconds if all 4 are together, and combined with fears and sonic screech this can be very difficult.

Thorim: (HARD MODE)
First, the 'tunnel group' must get to Thorim in under 3 minutes or Sif will despawn (this alone will get one achievement, but not the right one). This will make Sif fight you with Thorim - this gives Thorim 33% extra damage and 43% extra health. Sif is unkillable and uses powerful frost AOEs, making surviving much more difficult.

Freya: (HARD MODE)
Defeat her while all 3 of her 'Elder' minibosses are alive. They do not join in as with Sarth, but instead buff Freya andher adds, making them even more powerful!

Hodir: (HARD MODE)
Kill Hodir in 3 minutes, out of his 9 minute timer. This involves heavy raid DPS and efficient use of the buffing adds in order to reach the requirement.

Mimiron: (HARD MODE)
This means to press the big 'DO NOT PUSH' button behind Mimiron prior to engaging him. This adds an 8 minute enrage timer, 25% extra damage and health to each part, and extra skills to the already skill-laden 'don't stand in the fire' boss.

General Vezax: (HARD MODE)
Firstly, the raid must kill NO Saronite Crystals - which means no vapour, which means no mana regen. Eventually, 8 will be active, which will merge into the Saronite Animus. This makes the boss himself immune to all damage, and startstacking a debuff on the raid which deals shadow damage and increases shadow damage taken, giving this add a DPS requirement (from your mana-starved mana users and slowed melee). The boss must continue to be inturrupted while the Animus dies, as he continues using all his spells.

Yogg-Saron: (Almost HARD MODE)
The TRUE hard mode is 0 watchers, but this was considered too hard core for this meta and simply awards a title for the realm first. Each of the adds buffs the raid, improving damage and healing,speed,health or damage desistance (depending on the add) and giving a bonus such as killing immortal adds or regaining the raid sanity. Choose wisely - more information on each watcher is available on the actual ach page.

Algalon: (He feeds on your tears)
Nothing, you don't need to fight The Raid Destroyer - although you'll unlock him doing this meta!

A fun little script which makes you look like having completed this achievement while nobody else in the guild has even got a hard mode try yet:

Where the part with "1:5:7:9" is the date, which you can change as you want. The numbers in "Hachievement:XXXX" signified the achievement and you can just use the number on the wowhead page when you browse achievements. In this case, it's 2957, and if you were to look at your URL bar, you'd see that this achievement has the ID 2957.

Difficulty rating: : Firefighter -

Arguably the hardest hard mode of the 4 keepers.
Same stuff applies in all 4 phases except you have a 8-10 (hotfixes here and there, need confirmation) minute enrage timer and fire occasionally spawns in 3 areas of the room that will chase your raid members.
He has 25% more hp per machine as well as 25% more damage per machine.
Straight forward - stay alert, keep moving to dodge fires and win your hard mode loots and your Mimiron's Sigil.

Stokin' the Furnace - is one of the easiest... as long as you have enough melee in your group. We did it on our first try, spent 3mins only.

Orbit-uary - make sure u kill the turrets all the time! havn't got it yet :(

Iron Dwarf, Medium Rare - SUPER EASY if ppl focus and don't kill them , nuke em down to 15% and then have an AOE tank pull them infront of the boss when she lands, the breath will kill em. worst case secnario u get it in 2 weeks.

I Choose You, Steelbreaker - HARD, insaninly hard btw, grp with 25 man gear should have an easier life, but still very hard

Crazy cat lady - super easy just nuke the $%^& out of her, also the cats will do a stacking DOT on the tank, so make sure u have enough /healing and/or if the cats tank die, just make sure the main tank AOE taunt them and pop all cooldowns, by that time she should be @ 10% or less HP. basiclly loads of DPS make this achiv easier since less stacks on the off tank. got it was easy

Lose Your Illusion - dps race , tip #1 : use frost resist aura since siff will do raid wide frost dmg, tip#2 nuke hard since he will hit the tank alot harder don't be shy with cooldowns - got it easn't that hard

Stokin' the Furnace - just nuke the boss, have an OT pick up all the adds. basiclly dps race and easy one as well

Heartbreaker - bascially again DPS race, problem is that on hard mode he is doing stacking nature dmg probebly from the "sparks of life" we are working on that will update when i get it

Disarmed - have 1 DPS on the left arm, rest on the right arm. dps left arm till it have around 150k left then do the usual rotation right arm >> body, when he is under 30% and above 15% HP kill right arm and nuke left arm right after achiv done easiest achiv EVER

I Could Say That This Cache Was Rare - make sure u free the gnome 1st he is on the RIGHT HAND SIDE then free all the rest, then try to gain both tosty fire + moon beams and sparks on all qthe raid all the time, that will boost ur dps up by alot, it's still a hard achiv, IMO full ranged grp is best for that

Knock, Knock, Knock on Wood - keep them, alive and try again and again till u get her

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you have Iron Dwarf, Medium Rare wrong. My guild got this achievement by keeping the Guardian dwarves alive (10k hp left) and after you bring her down, she breaths right before taking back off (>50%). This is the breath that kills the dwarves and grants kills toward the cumulative achievement.

7/22 Blue's have announced the Meta reward will not be removed when 3.2 comes out:

After further discussion, we decided not to remove the rusted and ironbound proto-drake rewards for the normal and heroic Glory of the Ulduar Raider meta achievements when patch 3.2, Call of the Crusade, launches, and currently have no plans to remove them in the foreseeable future. However, we will continue to evaluate the situation and if a decision is made to remove these rewards at any point in the future, we'll provide a one month warning so players will have time to make some final attempts.

Just recently finished this achievement with my guild, we struggled with one light yogg-saron back in the Ulduar days and did therefore never get it.
After a less successful raid night we decided to step back into Ulduar and i can confirm this has become extremely easy,
Most of the achievements we had no problem with since they could be zerged down (keep in mind this was done in heroic blues)
The only advice i can offer is: Always read up on the achievements, though most can be zerged down some require you to kill the boss in a slightly unusual way, "Iron Dwarf, Medium Rar"e for example.

I got to say pugs can handle yogg + 1 light, but it takes some quick explanation for those at 85 who mostly skipped ulduar, but the big issue is with portals
by pure luck we got yogg +1 light, but its mostly raid awareness, even at 85 cuz yogg is a tactic fight, can't really outgear it
but i wish anyone luck who wants to aim for their ulduar drake.

This meta achievement is fairly difficult, even at level 85. Unfortunately, i believe that the 25 man mount is 100% better than the 10 man mount, but thats not why i am posting this. Also, this mount is STILL available, with no bugs, or misleading information. Anyone saying that this mount has been removed is misinformed, because my group has done this post cata, and now post 4.1. IT IS STILL OUT THERE.

Flame Leviathan-
This fight is easy at level 85. The seige engines and demolishers have an insane amount of health. Just make sure that you avoid the plants and fire on the ground, because it damages your vehicle tremendously. This fight is a fairly straightforward tank-n-spank at level 85.

XT-002 Deconstructor-
This fight is insanely easy. Make sure that Bloodlust/Timewarp are ready for when the heart drops down. This is an easy fight to mess up, because if you get the heart down to around 10k (and it doesn't die) XT-002 will be nearly dead, and you won't have another chance.
Once the heart is down, this fight becomes healing intensive, because XT-002 does his tantrum, and it hurts. Around 20k a tick. However, the main part of this fight is getting the heart down. You have around ~30 seconds to down 1 million health, which is pretty easy at 85.

Razorscale-
This achievement requires absolutely no talent or skills. This is very easy, and pretty much a dumb achievement. Make sure that you kill little adds and big adds, but not the medium-sized adds, because they count for the achievement. If you have 0/25 on this at the beginning, Razorscale will end up berserking. This is actually not too bad, Razorscales berserk is deadly at level 80, but not at 85. Keep trying to get her breath to the adds, because when Razorscale is enraged, she will 1 shot them. If she is NOT enraged, DPS the middle adds down to ~10-20k health, so that her breath DOES kill them, not just damage them.

Ignis the Furnace Master-
100% zerg fight at level 85. Just nuke him and you win. It is insanely difficult to die in this fight with ~100k health pools, so the normal raid mechanics go out the window. He is very easy to take out in 4 minutes (which is required by the achievement), so this is one of the easier fights.

Iron Council/Assembly of Iron-
Kill the other two, then Steelbreaker. This fight is a DPS race, and not all that healing intensive at level 85. It doesn't matter a whole lot which of the other two you kill first, just make sure that Steelbreaker is untouched.

Auriaya-
Tank and Spank. If the two guardians attack you healer(s) they will be done for, but Auriaya has very low health, and can be easily dealt with in one or two minutes. Going 1 tank 8 DPS 1 healer for this fight works well.

Kologarn-
Most RNG achievement i have ever seen. We killed both arms, then DPS the boss until around 35%. By then, DoTs will end up bringing the boss down to 32% or so. DPS the left arm and right arm simultaniously, and make sure that they have ~5% left before you finish them off. Then take out the last 100k or so on the boss. Our group got lucky, because the last DPS (me, everyone else had died) managed to take out the last of Kologarn's right arm and then the 20k (lucky) in his body to get the achievement. This fight might take a few weeks, because the timer is very easy to screw up.

Hodir-
Tank and spank, this took 2 attempts, but we did it with 1 tank 9 DPS. If you get stuck in Flash Freeze, you will probably just be stuck taking damage, but you will live. The only thing flash freeze does is lower DPS because you can't do anything when you are frozen. Make sure Bloodlust and timewarp are saved and up for this fight, you will need them.

Thorim-
Easiest thing. Make sure that the people running through the tunnel to him ignore adds (pretty much). Just make sure you hit Thorim once, because this starts the encounter. At level 85, there is a lot of leisure in the tunnel. Easy tank-n-spank from there.

Freya-
Hardest of the four on hard mode. She is 100% immune to all damage when adds are up. Our group was caster heavy, and standing under the mushrooms is the only way to cast. Killing the adds around the boss (in proximity) is a good strategy. We ended up pulling another group of adds (oops) but we managed anyway. Freya heals (i think) during P2, so make sure your DPS is good. At 85, we ignored the healing and just DPSed her down, but it was difficult.

Mimiron-
Press the big red button behind the boss to start this encounter. Very easy to do this fight, but the most important thing is that in P3, you MUST take out the three parts at around the same time. Our group messed up a lot with that, and there is not a lot of room for error. Take them all down to ~10%, then destroy them.

General Vezax-
Second hardest encounter (after Yogg) in here. Make sure that ranged casters AND healers stand in the black puddles that look like oil. If you don't, this turns into a "oh crap, i'm OOM" fight. The Saronite Animus is supposed to lock targets with the OT (who picks it up) but this lock down is really, really bugged, and he switches targets all the time. (thx blizz, after 2 years you still haven't fixed it). Just make sure you take it out. BEFORE IT SPAWNS, have your DPS take the General down to ~5%. He heals a lot in this fight via the beams that come out of him (they look like ). If you have the debuff on you, run away from everybody else. A key to this encounter for the healers's mana, is to INTERUPT. The boss casts a very big, nasty AoE flame thing, that is interuptable. This is 90% of all damage taken, so make sure it gets interupted every time. Having a mage and two warlocks interupt it is very easy, but make sure IT GETS THE INTERUPT.
Easily a big RNG fight, but only if you are unlucky.

Yogg-Saron-
Hardest fight. First off, watch the tankspot video. I put a full list of things to do and things NOT to do under Yogg-Saron, so go ahead and look at that for more info (it is many pages long).
Brief summary:
P1- have all ranged, healers, and melee stay out of range of clouds around the outside, and move away from them. If you are good, you can get a few range DPS blasts in while still dodging clouds.
P2- Hardest phase. Take out all tentacles, and have at least 2 people in the portals at a time.
P3- Burn him down. Ignore adds (except constrictor tentacles).

My Yogg-Saron summary is a lot more extensive than this. Just click on Yogg-Saron under Ulduar, and go to the last page and its there.

Hopefully this is very helpful to those who want this meta before blizzard decides to take it away.

Guide:
This achievement has become very easy with Cataclysm, 4.1 and level 85. We went in there with 8 people, all raid geared (somewhere around 350-353 iLvl on average):

2 tanks, warrior and paladin.
2 healers, shaman and holy priest (though he went shadow on a lot of fights)
4 dps, 2 arcane mages, 1 MM hunter and 1 destro 'lock.

Here's how we did it:
Orbit-uary:
2 Demolishers with 2 people in them.
1 Siege Engine with 2 people in.
2 Choppers.

Just execute the fight as you'd do back in the day: Demolishers hurl Pyrite Barrels, Choppers kill adds and the Siege Engine attacks the boss. Shouldn't take more than 1 minute, assuming the Demolishers keep the Pyrite rolling.

Stockin' The Furnace:
One of the easiest achievements: Tank the boss in the water, have an OT pick up adds. DPS should ignore the adds, and focus on killing the boss.

Only 1 healer is needed for this, and (s)he'll be bored to death, speaking from experience.

Iron Dwarf, Medium Rare:
Takes a while, but is easy. 1 healer should be enough for it, it sure was for us.
Leave 1 DPS at the turrets, and then get ready to do some killing. Watch out, boredom may come and say hello to your group while doing this.

One tank picks up all the Dark Iron Guardians, while DPS kills all the other dwarfs. The Guardian tank should, when the boss is chained to the ground, pull the dwarfs in front of her and take the Guardians down to 15k hp or less. A healer can help with this as their damage output usually is quite low. The flame breath Razorscale does before it takes off, does around 15k, so it should kill the dwarfs. Rinse and repeat, until you get the achievement.
You can get 4 Guardians every ground phase, so that's 7 ground phases in total.

Heartbreaker:
You'll need 2 healers because of Tympanic Tantrum. Do not bother attacking the boss until the heart is exposed. When the heart is exposed, pop cooldowns and burn it. Kill adds when they spawn, but ignore the pummelers.

When the heart is broken, ranged should stack up to make healing easier. Whenever someone gets a debuff, the should run away from the raid until the debuff runs out. Apart from that, just focus on the boss, and it should die without any major problems.

I Choose You, Steelbreaker:
1 healer is enough.
One tank picks up Steelbreaker and pulls him to the door of the room. The other tank picks up the other two dwarfs, and DPS begin killing them. Most of their abilities can be ignored except for Overload and Fusion Punch (healing will be needed when the tank is hit by this).

Look out for those two abilities, make sure to kill Steelbreaker last and you've got the achievement.

Disarmed:
Damage control is important here. Damage the boss himself to 30%-35%, and then kill off his two arms at the same time. Very simple, but if you've got trigger-happy dps, you may fail this. So STOP damage at the correct time.

Crazy Cat Lady:
Another easy one. 1 tank picks up the cats, the other one tanks the boss. DPS focuses on the boss, and she should die before her first fear.

I Could Say This Cache Was Rare:
Assign 1 dps to break the ice, and everyone else on the boss. When Hodir begins to cast Flash Freeze, move onto the piles of snow to avoid being frozen, and then go back to damaging Hodir. You should get the achievement without any problems.

Lose Your Illusion:
1 plate dps and 1 healer goes through the gauntlet and everyone else stays in the area and play with the mobs there. The gauntlet runners will scare Thorim down well before the timer runs out, and Thorim should be defeated. Another achievement added to the collection.

Knock, Knock, Knock on Wood:
Treat the fight as you would back in WoLK (kill adds until Freya losses her +healing buff), but don't worry too much about the damage going on. Compared to 100k+ health pools, that damage is nothing. Add this achievement to your collection, and move on.

Firefighter:
2 healers is suggested, just in case.

People may die here, if they cannot move out of fire. Basically just avoid fire and Laser Barrage, and you should be fine. Kill the Leviathan, then the Turret and lastly the Head. They will merge, and they have to be killed around the same time. If your group knows how to avoid %^&*, this should be a walk in the park, with the park burning all around you.

I Love the Smell of Saronite in the Morning:
Have your ranged people spread out, and make them avoid Shadow Crash (if they eat it, yell at them), and everyone should get the hell away from the person marked with Mark of the Faceless. Furthermore, casters should always stand in the black puddles left behind by Shadow Crash when they're dpsing, or they may go oom.

Go easy on the dps until 6 Saronite Vapors have spawned. That means do NOT kill any Saronite Vapors. When the 6th one spawn, they'll merge. Kill this new enemy, down Vezax and you'll have added another achievement to your collection.

One Light in the Darkness:
I highly advice people to make Thorim assist them. It makes the fight soooooo much easier. 1 tank and 2 healers should be enough for the fight.

In P1 adds will spawn. Drag them to Sara and kill them there. Do this 8 times and P2 will start.

In P2 there's a bunch of things to watch out for:

2 people will be linked with a beam once in a while. They have to stay on top of each other.
Maledy of the Mind will be cast on a random person. Do not stand near this person, not even if you're linked.
Tentacles will spawn. Kill them, with the Constrictor ones being top priority
Portals will spawn sometimes. When they do, have 4 dps going through them, and start killing the neutral things in the room. This should take ~20 seconds. The dps should then head to the newly-opened room, and attack the Brain there. When the brain hits 30% (well before Induce Madness is cast), P3 will begin. The dps should be teleported out of the room, to join everyone else.

In P3 more adds will spawn. Assign 1-2 dps to take care of these. If you've got Thorim active, the adds shouldn't pose a problem. Once in a while, Yogg will cast Lunatic Gaze. When that happens, turn your back to him. When the cast's over, turn back and keep burning his health away.

This is the most challenging of these achievements, so expect a few wipes on it.

This is a very good guide, but your plan for Disarmed isn't too accurate.

If the boss gets below 30% with both adds up, you won't get the achievement by taking out the arms.

Make sure that you take the boss to around 35% and then take out the arms, and the boss's last 5% of health.

^^^^Fail safe way. DPS the arms down at around the same time.

When my guild ran this for people's alts, I found that Razorscale is actually the worst one out of all of these at 85, due to the sheer tedium required. Geared tanks can very easily kill the guardians too quickly. Even when we decided to do Yogg+0 for the guild achievement, we facerolled it in comparison.

Wonder when Blizz removes the Glory of the Ulduar Raider achievements, as they did with the Naxx ones.

Imo, these are way to faceroll now, if you have a little experience in Ulduar.
Got both 10 and 25 man drakes, on 3 characters now, and i see the drakes everywhere.

I just did this whole meta in one session, with varying amounts of players, and I have to say the most annoying one for me was Iron Dwarf, Medium Rare. In the end we just decided not to dps her at all until we got the 25 kills, and just keep harpooning her, as no more dwarfs spawn after she's stuck on the ground, and it's dangerous to keep 25 or so dwarfs together as they have to be low health for her to kill them, and the friendly npcs can kill them, so you'd have to reset the fight, which we had a hard time doing.

In the end we just found it faster just to keep cycling through the harpooning loop, and carefully lowering their health to ~3k life, where her breath can kill them. DPS have a hard time doing this, as they hit so hard in cata level gear, so it might be helpful to have a healer be the one that brings their health down as they have abilities that hit for low enough amounts that they can get the adds health to just the right amount.

The only other achievement I might be concerned about is One Light in the Darkness (10 player). I think it's definitely possible to do this in a smaller group (the rest of the achievements can probably be 3 manned fairly easily), but we decided it was better just to get guildies so we have 10 people and essentially just zerg him. Keep in mind this is a yogg zerg, so people still need to watch what they're doing , but with 10 people we only needed to be in the mind room once, and even though we actually did the Alone in the Darkness (10 player) so we could have a chance at the mount (didn't drop sadly) it didn't matter as he went down extremely quickly, and the only people who were even low on sanity were two people who screwed up the brain link.

I did feel that the 10 man version of yogg was definitely easier than the 25 man version, for those looking to gauge difficulty.
