I worry about female Tauren, Trolls and Draenei. They will be forced to buy some Brewfest Slippers for 100 tickets while you can't even see them when they wear the Brewfest Dress! That's such a waste of good tickets...

The pieces will act as a 'set' to trigger a script on the server side.

No 'set bonus' no achivement. Same goes with other achivements like this like the Winter's Veil one.

ADDITIONAL: You can talk to Ram Master Ray or Neill Ramstein for a Ram, and start running for kegs if you've done There And Back Again, each time you deliver, you get 2 Tokens and 30 seconds extra. With a bit of skill, you can get quite a few from these. (easiest is to go full gallop and take only the two apple buckets along the way, ignore the ones in the back unless you are over 50 ram fatigue)

EDIT²: I learned that there is a quest called Pink Elekks on Parade however, it doesn't seem to work on EU realms, and hence in not listed in my list. The Questo giver (Horde) (Alliance) still gives you Synthebrew Goggles

Somewhat irrelevant but if you switch off the Full Screen Glow Effect from Options -> Video you get rid of the blur caused by the "completely smashed" state, you still don't have perfect control of your character though.

For what it's worth, I got 145 tokens on the first day. By doing the above quests and getting 10 kegs on the second mule ride.

I earned 147 tokens my first day...125 from the quests themselves, the an extra 22 from running additional barrels. You can get as many as you can within a 4 minute time frame, with every return granting you 30 extra seconds. If you're quick, you can earn quite alot this way. I'm about to attempt on my mage, now that I got the hang of it.

This is easily doable in a matter of days. At 350 tokens (50 for the head, 200 for the chest, 100 for the feet) You should be able to complete this achievement by day 4 or 5.

The first day you will have 125-145 tokens
40 for Direbrew's Brew
10 for Chug and Chuck
10 for This One Time...(D)
15 for Bark for ____(D)
10 for There and Back Again
40 for Pink Elekks
(2-46 for Ram Racing (D)--I was able to easily obtain 20 tokens doing the ram racing daily so I am using that as the cutoff.)

Thereafter you will gain 27-71 tokens per day

If you also need to join the Brew of the Month club, you need an extra 200 tokens placing your total at 550 tokens (6 to 8 days.)

And if you would like the Pink Elekk pet that is another 100 tokens (650 total tokens, 7-10 days.) At this point if you have not obtained a mount from killing Coren Direbrew somewhere around 45 times, you will have extra tokens to purchase hops to transform your mount for that achievement.

Just got my achievement. Bought clothes, hearthed to Dalaran, got achievement, Ripper'ed to Everlook (no longer sell-able on the item). This all took about 5 minutes total so it wasn't a time thing. Just FYI. Don't try to do a side errand. I guess make sure to use the portal. Maybe that was the problem for me or maybe it was patched.

Is it possible to earn this achievement after brewfest is done with? Like, if I buy the 3 clothing items, then wait until like december to actually /dance smashed in dal, would I still get the achievement?

As of patch 3.3.0 this is achievement is no more mandatory for the Brewmaster meta-achievement.

As of 2010, Brewfest clothing items for this achievement can no longer be resold to the vendor for a refund of tokens. That means, like Midsummer, you'll have to pony up 350 tokens for the set in addition to the tokens one may want to spend on other things.

I just bought the hat to test it out, since the hat is only worth 50 coins, not a big loss. I cannot sell it back.

Now I know, I should buy the membership first then do this achievement.

You can not buy and then sell back the brewfest clothes. just tryied on 9/20/10 the vendor will not take it back. so you will need the 552 tokens to get all the achevments. or 550 if your lucky enough to win a mount.

Just in case anyone else didn't notice...you do NOT need the clothes for the Brewmaster achievement any more. You just need the Brew of the Month Club, the Disturbing the Peace was removed from the needed achievements.

So, do not buy the clothes till after you have done the Brewmaster. You only now need those 200 tokens.

Smashed and Sloshed appear to mean the same thing for the inebriation mechanic. (Although I don't know how fast it wears off.) So the Synthebrew Goggles should count as "smashed".

If you do all the quests and the dailies from the first day Brewfest starts to the last day it is possible to get the Disturbing the Peace achievement and the Brewmaster title. However, you cannot buy the Brewfest Pony Keg and the Pint-Sized Pink Pachyderm in one Brewfest event. That will have to wait another year.

I managed 46 tokens one day. There are some tricks to getting the maximum number of possible tokens; these are for the alliance side.

First, ride the most direct paths possible. If you don't need an apple, don't ride past one. You can go from the quest giver to the first apple crate, then directly to the guy who throws the barrel, and turn around to hit the 2nd apple crate and refresh again. From there, it's usually easier to ride to the 1st crate and back to the drop-off but I know some people with virtually perfect connections who can make it without having to pass the 1st crate again. I don't recommend it.

Secondly - jump at crates. Jumping and landing refreshes your position to the game server faster than running, because the game is forced to calculate the "fall" (Or so I'm told as the reasoning. I don't make a claim to its accuracy). What I DO know is that it DOES update your position faster, which can be the difference of riding over a crate and NOT being refreshed.

Third - Be prepared to change angle at your landing point. In other words, you approach a crate. Jump so that you land at the crate, and turn there - don't jump once you're "in range" of the crate's refresh. This will shave a second or two off on your time per run, and over 20+ runs it can add up to another extra run easily.

Fourth - Cut your route's ends tight. You can ride just past the torch near the drop off and turn around; usually your toon will "throw" the barrel after you've started heading back, but it still gets turned in. It's tricky to explain the other end -- in front of the building north of the guy who throws barrels, there's a low wall with a torch in the center bordering the road. If you turn JUST as you pass the torch there, you WILL get your barrel. You can do a 180 at that point and be well past the 1st crate on your way back to the turn in before the barrel animation catches up with you: I've done cycles fast enough to throw my barrel to the turn in guy before it actually caught up to me.

It's all about cutting as much as you can from the route. To maximize it, your route should be something like:

Start at the quest giver.
Ride directly to the 1st apple crate.
Jump before reaching it to land IN its area of refresh effect.
Upon landing, immediately turn to angle directly toward the barrel thrower. You may want to practice these angles on a regular mount before doing the run.
As soon as you pass the torch near the road, turn around. Watch your chat log to see that you've received the item.
Ride directly from there back to the 2nd apple crate.
Depending on your connection:
Ride to either the 1st apple crate (recommended) or to the turn-in dwarf. Either way, you should wrap around the torch directly in front of him, relative to the direction he's facing, and then turn back to head for the 1st crate again.

A quick note: Done properly, you can easily do 18+ runs a day for a total of 36 tokens. If you have a better connection, you can do even more. And this is the important part: This route cuts it very close. You may be reaching 95 fatigue on your ram as you're getting refreshed. It's very important that you do the jump and that you don't go overboard on clipping time when being refreshed - it is EXTREMELY easy to end up wearing your ram out and bein' screwed. Secondly, it's very easy to turn around too soon at either end of the route, which will cost you time but is easily recovered from once you refresh at an apple crate. Should you miss either end of the route, you will HAVE to refresh or you'll wear the ram out, so don't turn back right away.
