Just to clarify...you will need to get exalted with The Argent Crusade, Darkspear Trolls, Undercity, Orgrimmar, Silvermoon City, and Thunder Bluff. So you will also pick up the Ambassador title along the way. On top of that, you need to spend over a month doing Argent Tournament dailies for each city in order to become a champion of that city, and if you are also exalted with that city, you get a title (<name> of <city name>, for each city). So all in all, if you plan to complete this achievement, you are looking at gaining six different titles on your way to Crusader, nice little bonus in my opinion.

To be champion of all cities you need to do all the dailies 25 days in a row. (5 for each city)

25 days does not seem THAT bad, especially comparing to the cooking quest grind for the recipes etc...

Compare it to the ~~148~~ 133 days^ of Champion's Seal dailies and 2500g' needed to buy all 5 10 ground mounts (Horde | Alliance, 100 seals each for new models, 5 seals and 500g' each for old models), and the flying Argent mount (Argent Hippogryph, ~~250~~ 150 seals).

If you plan to buy all 5 of your faction's small pets (Horde | Alliance, 40 seals each) with your* Seals, that's an additional 40 days.
Buying all 5 of the Tabards (Horde | Alliance, 50 seals each) is an additional 50 days.
Buying all 5 of the Banners (Horde | Alliance, 15 seals each) is an additional 15 days.

That's a net total of ~~253~~ 238 days^ of Champion's Seal dailies.
Buying each of the small pets from a different player saves you 40 days, for a net of ~~213~~ 198 days^ of Champion's Seal dailies.

These numbers can be further reduced (however, slightly) by picking the Champion's Purse as the selectable reward for these dailies (instead of the Champion's Writ), because as of Patch 3.1.2, it has a very small chance of also containing a Champion's Seal.

*Note: each small pet is not BoP, thus allowing you to find these from other players.
^Note: the 10 Champion's Seals, or 2 days worth of dailies, that you get from A Champion Rises (the one-time quest given at Champion's rank) is deducted from this number.

The reason there was only one daily available was because you had already done the others to get to champion today. The only one that cycles is the one where you get the sword. All of the others will be available tomorrow.

Can you get the exalted status (and the title+achivment) after you are a champion or you have to be exalted before turnin it ?

by getting exalted afterwards you'll still fulfill the requirements for that achievement and as such will get the title as soon as you fulfill both requirements, no matter which of them is first

i can confirm what Katrak said, having hit champion i've gone on to the next faction and only got 1 daily, took the same conclusion as jarnaez did seeing how i've done the others already =)

though aside from the initial 10 seals for hitting champion i do hope theres more then 5 champion's seals a day... cuz that would really take a hell of a long time to gather all the mounts, pets, tabards etc

750 for the mounts, 250 for the tabards, 200 for the pets, 75 for the banners = 1275 seals
take out the initial 10 for hitting champion leaves you 1265 seals
if yer lucky you'll get 10 more seals per other faction so that gives another possible 40 in the calculation but else it'll be that divided by 5 = 253 days, i guess those vanity pets will be worth a small fortune on the (shared) auctionhouse *hint*

suddenly i'm happy that i'm already exalted with my own factions as well as WotLK tabard ones like argent dawn XD

I wonder if it's even possible..
253 days (minimum) is 8½ months. However, Blizzard has stated that Argent Tournament will change nature, with the launch of v3.2 (v3.1 is training towards something new). At that time, we don't know if you can even earn/spend seals anymore.

This means, you need to make a prioritised list of what you will spend your seals on, in case you can't get everything...

People have kind of touched on it...but no one put it in stone, and just to be certain:

You get Champion with your home city. Then you move on (to whatever). Does anyone know if by becoming Champion with another city, do you lose your ability to buy things from your previously championed cities? If so, that throws a bit of a wrench into dailies plans. You still can do the Champion Dailies over the same ammount of time above (253 Days) for each mount/pet/whatever, but you just couldn't do the Valiant quests for each other city until finished buying stuff from the previous one.

I just want to make sure I don't get my rep up with Undercity (my newest target) and lose the ability to buy my TB stuff!

Sounds like alot of work but its not to bad.
I find a group each day to get the grind dailies out of the way so i can usually get them all done in about 40 minutes or less.

Zandranas, You've missed that when you are champion you can have as reward from dailys Champion's Writs that will grant you 250 rep for chosen faction (at least factions where you've become champion, because items are currency for usable <City> Commendation Badge +250 rep scrolls sold by every faction quatermasters).
And on a second note:
when you gain 250 rep with orgrimar let's say, you'll also get 62 rep with other home cities, with 5 home factions that gives 250+4x62 =~ 500 reputation for every +250 reputation gained for one of home cities.

So if you are DK like me, or you've rerolled and don't really have rep with home cities you just can do all vallant dailys with all factions, that gives 3 days to become a vallant and 25 days to become champion everywhere. (and within that time 5 days as a champion).

Thats 3500rep as aspirant + 25 days of dailys as vallant (25*4*500= 50000rep), 5 days as a champion (10000rep).

So from the start of doing daily in Tournament you'll gain 61500 reputation total after 27 days (3 days as aspirant, on 3rd day first dailys as vallant, so 27, not 28 days), after that you just have to do champions dailys to raise other reputations.

You should remember, that best way to raise rep for Ambassador in Tournament is doing all vallant's dailys, and after that rising equally reps with <City> Commendation Badge, so you won't waste single rep point you've earned.

Also Isaih, you can just do Champion's quests, then switch to vallant same day.

edit: after some more calculations i see there's more rep:
best way to farm rep is to do 5 valiant dailys every day for 5 days, then turning valiant's charge (whitch also gives 500 rep total, so it's additional 500 rep every 5 days) then doing champion's quest 5th day, again champion's quests next day and then becoming a valiant again.

In this way you'll do 25*5 valiant quest +5 valiant's charge quests, 9 champion's quests and 15 aspirants quest (+ some quests for becoming a valiant) in 27 days and you'll earn about 77k rep total distributed over home factions in only 27 days, that's ~2850 rep per day! (~38 stacks of runecloths).

If you were to obtain this title and become exalted champion for each faction, would that mean you would not have anymore dailies from the hut? Meaning you wont be able to do the dailies for valiant seals?

so that's 4 dailies taken away from the argent tournament.

If that's the case, that's a lot of easy dailies that go down the drain just for this title.

I have just achieved this title, and nothing else happened; no new quests, no other rewards, no nothing.
There's no more faction quests in the right hut, but it's still possible to do the quests from the left hut to obtain Champion's Seal(s).

So this means that when you are 100% done;, you will actually not have the sweet "duplicate" q's? (Killing scurge and the battle at the citadel (commander and lieutenants + +) - That makes it "silly" to complete it then; unless you are a title adict. I want duplicate q's for faster cash :/

Picked this one up today, after doing every daily quest available from the Argent Tournament every day since the tournament was released, as well as being exalted with every city faction of the Horde.

Amazing money maker for casual players:

The Ebon Hold quest (15 banners) + Champion 15 kills + Valiant 10 kills can be done by killing 15 mobs.
This will provide:

Gold: +- 50 (3 quests + 10 po in bag)
Reput: 250 AD, 250 EH, 500 Sun and 250 for a city.
Token: 1 champion and 1 valiant

I can't see anything coming close to those rewards if you only have 20 minutes/play per day (either absolute, or just before the raid).

Once you obtain exalted argent champion of the horde, you cannot do any of the dailys from each faction in the hut. You are just left with the 4 from the tent, which includes threat from above. The only down side is you dont get the gold for those 3 quests you cant do anymore per faction. But the other 4 are the ones that give the seals to buy the quartermaster items.

Unfortunately I found an error in your math since it seems that your math was done assuming you get only 1 Champion Seal per champion seal quest but you actually get a total of 5 per day because Threat from Above gives you 2

So that means that buying the 5 ground mounts will take a total of 20 days each making for 100 days and the Argent Hippogryph will take 30 days due to the drop of price to 150 Champion Seals for a total of 130 days to get all 6 of the mounts
And now for a charge of 5 seals and 450g you can buy the "old" model mounts adding another 5 days and 2250g

Getting the 5 factions small pets will only take 32 days not 40
other wise your math is good

so all in all the total days to get the tabards, pets and mounts (which I find the most worth while items since I am really into the achievements) is

135(mounts) + 32(Non-combat Pets) + 50(tabrads) = 217days

and if you include the banners

217(other three) + 15(banners) = 232 days in all to get the non-combat items of your faction but of course you CAN save 32 days by buying the NCPs from other players as Nafe said bringing it down to 200 days and 2250g

the minimum time to do this is 28 days from 3.1

While trying for this you will get 5 titles, and 100 champion's seals. Not counting the champion seals potentialluy from the purses. You will need to be persistent while trying to do this and never lose a day. This iwll take near a month, and if you are not exalted or close to this already then you will have a hard time.

If you are now starting, gz after 28 days of hard dailies.

Please don't try to derail my math when your info is wrong:

Each pet takes 40 Champion's Seals, so at a rate of 5 seals/day, buying 5 pets total, that's 40 days.

I've updated my post to include correct numbers as of Patch 3.1.2. End result is that it takes 238 days to get everything, or 198 days to purchase everything except the pets, not 232 / 200 days as you suggest. See above for a more detailed explanation.

In my opinion, DKs should get a slightly different achievement, due to how they get Ebon Blade dailies when they become a Champion instead of Argent Crusade dailies.

Something like Dark Crusader <Name>, where you gotta become exalted with Ebon Blade instead of Argent Crusade. It may be a little unfair, seeing as how Ebon Blade has 6 (imo) easy dailies they can do, but then again it could balance out, seeing as how DKs are sent to the Ebon Blade guys in the Tournament, and they get Ebon Blade dailies when they could possibly need Argent Crusade rep more.

Just my two cents.

As of 3.2, there are now more dailies, although you need to be exalted with the Sunreavers (Silver Covenant for Alliance) to get them. Currently, as a Crusader, I have access to enough dailies to get 10 champion seals, plus the heroic 5-man which gives an additional 3. Most of these dailies are located in the Argent pavillion, while the others are in the Horde pavillion.

You can continue to get rep for each city by handing in 60 wool/silk/mageweave cloth each day for 350 rep each. The best way of getting rep that i've found is to go to the starting areas and do all the low level quests. You'll get the rep you need in no time!

The starting 60 wool, silk , mageweave are a ONE TIME deal, after you do those you turn in 60 Runecloth for 350 rep then its 20 runecloth for 75 rep each turn in of 20 until you hit exalted.

You can no longer turn in Wool, Silk, Mageweave after you've done the starting 60. You can only turn in runecloth in bunches of 20 for 75 rep each turn in until Exalted with that city.

See my comment on Exalted Champ of the Horde and just add the quests used to become a champion rep, Heroics rep with the tabard, and the daily which costs 10g but it gives you 250 rep with argent crusade and you will get this in no time!

I attained this, the crusader title twice. Earned it shortly after AT started up, then lost it 12/09/09 due to faction change. Then doing the dailies every day i was able to get it back today 08/10/09. It was painful having to do everything all over again. But now i can earn more seals from the 2 extra dailies.

should have to be exalted with the knights of the ebon blade too, since they are represented at the argent tournament, and play a huge role in the ongoing fight against the scourge

i wouldnt mind the wyrmrest accord being represented there too, would be nice to get like a cool white/gold proto drake mount

i mean, u already got the argent crusade of course, then the knights of the ebon blade, and the kirin tor (sunreavers/silver cov)

might as well put the last main faction of northrend in there

i mean, its gonna take all of northrend's effort to defeat the lich king

i mean, of course we are gonna see the argent crusade and the knights of the ebon blade in icecrown citadel, but they should throw the kirin tor and the wyrmrest accord too

wyrmrest accord played a huge role at the wrathgate when we ALMOST killed the lich king right then and there thanks for the forsaken

and the kirin tor is just the leading faction in northrend

heck, who knows, the lich king might be so tough, we may need to pull in everybody we can

Parch 3.3 Concerns:

As of right now, I do not have this listed on the Achievement menu under World Events for the Argent Tournament. I will update wether or not I get this achieve when I get the Champion of the Horde and Exalted Champion of the Horde ones in about an hour from now.

Yup, definitely was hidden on the Achievement list only shows up after you get exalted with all the horde factions and become champions of them all. it unlocks the Crusader Daily Quests. I will link a screenshot in the future.

Just for the record (I can't imagine many people will be in the same situation, but still warrants mentioning)...

ARGENT TOURNAMENT PROGRESS IS SAVED PER FACTION.

This means that if you switch from Horde to Alliance, then back to Horde, your Argent Tournament progress will be precisely how you left it when you switched the first time.

In other words, the maximum amount of times a single character will ever have to grind this achievement will be twice - once on the Alliance side, and once on Horde side. After that, switching won't lose you Argent Tournament progress.

Something that's bugged me... maybe you guys will be able to answer. I faction transferred, and when I did, I turned out to be an ambassador, Exalted champion with IF and SW, and yet.... the rest was void. I never got that. Anyone know why the Crusader title is removed?

if you've completed this achievment, and then decide to transfer to alliance. Do you get their achievment instantly, or do you have to do all the dailies for each cities over again and grind city reps aswell?

Also an important note, is that you no longer have to become a Valiant with each race. You jump right into the Valiant Seals so it only takes 5 days to obtain Champion with each one, meaning you can have it in 25 days.
