I was attempting to get this on my level 56 mage. I did the prequest in Goldshire where you have to put out the fires, yet was not able to get this quest.

Does anyone know the minimum level to get it? Also if the minimum is over level 60.... can my mage loot the Horse mount if he is there when it drops?

any1 know if the horseman will stil drop his mount, sword and helm in the 2009 hallow's end event; and if the helm and sword will be scaled up to lvl 80 weapons

:D this is my last acheivement for the title, unfortunately, this year he's an 80's-group-run-type-thing...thing, so I (being only 71) can't get it this year, unless a group can find it in their heart to let me tag along. Please, respond to this if it is possible for me to get it at ease. Thanks!

It's possible to still get this under 78. Have five friends, one of which is a warlock, queue up and enter. Have one person drop the group and invite your low level friend. Summon them in, kill the HH, and enjoy your achievement!

There is a way around this to get the achievement for toons below the minimum level to be able to queue up for this fight. Been doing this since they first implemented the queue system.

You have to be high enough to enter the dungeon for it to work. Here's how:

Enter the dungeon with a friend. I dual box so I can do it that way. One of the the players will be leaving group at the beginning, before the pull. When you get in, don't start the fight. Make sure the toon that is going to remain in the group, is the group leader. Also, this is VERY IMPORTANT! The toon that is leaving group cannot be an important role such as tank or healer. You MUST queue as DPS because the fight can easily be handled w/ one less person. It's VERY likely your alt will die instantly, but you'll get the achievement.

Once in, leave the group, log on to your lvl 51 or whatever alt. Have the group leader (either your friend or your other account), get manually invited. Then the green dungeon "search eye" icon will appear, click it to port in. And you can kill the boss.

Note, you do NOT get the daily keg for the mounts or JP. You DO get credit for the kill, for the achievement, can roll on gear, AND the quest starting keg. I've done this for EACH holiday boss:

Love is in the Air boss is in NORMAL SFK, not heroic. If you go anywhere else in SFK, towards the end, the trash are all low level. Wowhead says lvl 11 can enter there. Average lvl is 16, at least by LFG's terms.

Midsummer, same deal. I think lvl 62 is the lowest to enter Slave Pens. Maybe more around 64.

Brewfest, low 50s to be able to enter.

Hallow's End, low 30s to enter SM Graveyard.

Remember, if you do it this way, just make sure the leader is someone who can manually invite you. Your toon who you queued up with, to reserve a spot, isn't an important role such as tank or healer. Also, if there is someone farming an item that they need, be kind and pass on it, even if you can use it....eventually. You are making them pick up the slack for your low level toon.

One of the more funny achievement titles.

This reminds me of a quest in Dragonblight on the Horde side, where you have to kill some mage working for the Blue Dragonflight, and when you bring his head back to the questgiver, he says, "Is that a severed Orc head in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?"

I really wish Thottbot was still up and running :( .....this site gives NO help at all! At least on Thottbot you could find out HOW to do things for the holiday quests. The book that Bliz put out with Cata is useless ..... except for maybe new players.

Walkthrough please.

Step 1: Open up your Dungeon Finder Interface
Step 2: Click dropdown arrow where you choose the type of dungeon
Step 3: Click "Headless Horseman"
Step 4: Click "Join Queue"
Step 5: Wait
Step 6: Click "Accept" when queue pops
Step 7: Begin boss encounter by right clicking pumpkin
Step 8: Kill easiest boss ever
Step 9: Profit

/walkthrough complete

NOTE: You must be within 1 level of the current maximum level to do any of the holiday bosses. Other posts saying lower levels can get the achievement are outdated since 4.2 all holiday bosses are accessed via the dungeon finder.

NOTE2: You can also no longer invite people into already-formed dungeon groups. I've tested this several times, and it's quite frustrating when tanks kill one boss then leave and you cant invite a friend to save the day =((##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##Sas148##DELIM##

I am also interested at doing this on a character at a level unable to join the queue. I have a level 20 twink I'd like to get the title for, so is it possible?
